Emma's POV

My eyes widened as I watched the front door of my home come down with a loud bang.

Heavy men, walked in, guns by their side.

"Who the heck are you and what gives you the audacity?" I was furious. Do these people have no common sense?

A man glanced at me, and my blood ran cold.

"Where's your father?" He said, raising a gun at me.

Before I could speak, my father walked out, his voice penetrating the air.

"Emma, we have to leave..."

I watched him swallow as he set his eyes on the men before he stepped closer.

" What's going on Dad? " I asked, sneaking glances at the men cladded in black.

"They are Alessandro's men. I took a loan to help with your sister's hospital bill. " My father started, and my mind reeled.

The demon, Alessandro?

The man with the gun chuckled while rubbing the rims of the gun, "Now, Alessandro wants money, old man."

I watched the conversation, unsure of what to do.

Emily was upstairs, and I couldn't find any openings to escape and get her.

"I don't have the..." Before my father completed his statement, I heard a gunshot.

Confusion rammed into me as my father's body crumpled to the floor with a groan that escaped his mouth.

My knees buckled, "No! How could you? He would have paid. Father!"

My breath came out in ragged gasps, trying to stop the bleeding from my father's legs.

It wasn't working.

"Shut up! You'd do a nice job or we'd kill your sister." The killer snapped.

I looked in the direction of his gaze, to see a man holding my little sister.

Rage filled me. Are these people even humans?

"Leave her! Take me and I'd pay." I said, swallowing my pain.

I forcefully shifted my eyes from my father's body to Emily, my sister.

A smile appeared on my face, Emily was unconscious.

"I'd be back, Emily." I uttered before I felt the sharp sting on my neck

My limbs weakened and darkness swallowed my consciousness.

Cold water was splashed on me and I groaned, blinking my eyes rapidly to adjust to the bright light.

Staring at the unknown place, I tried to get up but couldn't because my hands and legs were chained.

The memory of yesterday flashed into my head, and I shrieked.

I scanned the room, landing on a sight that made my blood run cold.

Alexander, a cold, calculating figure awaited me. His features exuded an aura of ruthlessness.

"Welcome, Emma," he said, his voice dripping with malice.

"Alexander! What do you need from me?" I demanded trying to hide my trembling.

"You belong to me until your father pays his debt ..... plus interest."

"You killed him!" I screamed at him, my shoulders trembling. I wanted no more than to wrap my hands around that neck of his.

" Killed? Not yet! But will kill him soon enough if you don't comply." His smile twisted, staring down at me.

"I don't have anything to want." I uttered, and that was the truth.

"Oh, I think you'll find ways to....earn your keep." His gaze crawled over me, making my skin crawl.

"You will be a beautiful addition to my collection tomorrow. Buyers will pay a lot for a beauty like you."

My heart skipped a beat as I realized the horrible truth. Alexander runs a human trafficking business by selling his debtors as pimps to men.

"You won't dare... I will report you to the authorities." I stared at him with defiance.

Alexander's face held amusement. "If I were you I wouldn't think about that."

He patted my cheeks, his touch sending cold shivers down my spine.

"Your father's life is in your hands. He is alive today, thanks to you. The faster you comply the better for you. The authorities can't help you. They also have a share in whatever price you are sold for."

My widened with fear, and I let out a gasp of horror.

"And who will take care of your sick sister if your father dies?" He taunted, his gaze lingered on my terrified face.

" No...no... please," I pleaded. Nothing should happen to Emma.

He whistled, and some men approached me. They held me tightly.

Before I could grasp what was happening, my skirt was pulled, followed by my underwear.

"Wait....Stop that!" I screamed desperately, tears coursing down my face.

Alexander slipped his finger into my body humming in approval.

I winced from the pain of his forceful insertion as the feeling of repulsion coursed through me.

The auctioneer's voice echoed through the dimly lit room, "Next up, we have Emma, a beautiful and innocent young woman. She's a virgin. Bidding starts at $200,000."

I was pushed onto the stage as the curtain slid open, my wrists bound, as men dressed in suits and masks inspected me like a commodity. The cold air ran over my arms and thighs, a reminder I wore only red lingerie and heels.

My eyes locked onto a familiar face – Leonardo Rossi, a VVIP at the club where I worked.

My stomach churned as his gaze roamed over my body.

The bidding began.

$250,000.

$300,000.

These devils were selling me away. I clenched my fists in annoyance. If I got sold, I'd never see Emily again.
