2 Sold Out By Her Stepfather

Minutes Later.

After eating, Alvina was escorted to her new, furnished room where she received various beauty treatments. This pattern continued for 3 days until her skin looked supple like that of a young noble miss who's never done any work.

Despite all the luxury she now enjoyed, Alvina always had a bad feeling, earnestly wishing that her family would reveal their true intentions. Her wish came true the next day while dining with her stepfamily.

“You must have been mystified all these days, am I right?” Alpha Austin asked with a serious face.

“Y-Yes, Dad,” she'd been using this term at his command for the past three days.

“We fed, clothed and took good care of you for the past eighteen years, even though you are someone not related to us.” the Alpha paused.

The silence was unsettling to her and it didn't help that her stepmom for the first time was smiling so much whenever their eyes met.

The Alpha King continued, “ We did you a huge favor and now, it's time to repay that favor. Are you willing?”

Alvina nodded her concord despite the confusion in her head.

“Answer me!” her stepdad abruptly barked, pounding the table and causing the spoons to fly up and land back on the respective plates.

“Yes, Alpha King!” Alvina replied, her entire being shaking. She didn't miss the disdain in Gabriella's eyes.

The Alpha chuffed, “Doesn't matter whether you agree or not. Beginning tomorrow, you'll be a wife.”

“A wife?” Alvina blurted out, stunned at these unanticipated words from her stepdad. She was going to be married tomorrow?

Looking at the slyly smiling Gabriella she comprehended a thing or two. Probably someone wanted to marry Gabriella but Alpha Austin didn't approve of his marriage to his precious daughter. So he decided to treat Alvina well for a few days and then send her off as the replacement bride.

“Alpha Ryder Winterfield. He's your husband-to-be. Your wedding gown is ready. Are you grateful?” he asked, sporting a wicked grin.

She internally sighed in defeat. She was right; this slick family wouldn't treat her purely out of good intentions.

Alpha Ryder was the Alpha King who governed Black Soul pack, the most powerful pack having 10,000 pack members, most of whom were elite warriors.

He was a ruthless man, one feared by all other Alphas, a despicable man who killed his own father when he was 17 and murdered the rest of the royal family. He ruled his pack with an iron hand and was battle-wise and battle-hungry.

Maybe he threatened to evade the pack and to appease him, Alpha Austin said he'll offer his daughter to him. But he didn't say which daughter. Such a guileful man her stepdad was.

“It's not what you're thinking, dear. Your husband bought you from my hand. A good amount of gems and money he gave me. And in return, I'll send a good breeder. I never knew your worthless self could finally be of use to me,” the Alpha laughed.

Alvina got off her seat and knelt, head bowed, “Thank you, Alpha King, for this great opportunity. I shall do my best not to disgrace this family while with my husband.” She could hear the chuckles of Eleanor and her step-siblings.

"That's what you deserve, weasel!" she heard Gabriella mockingly say to her through a mind link.

"Go to your room, and don't come out until tomorrow," the Alpha King commanded and she heeded, not even turning her head to look back.

Maybe this was her way of leaving this disgusting family and hateful pack for good; she’d always wished for that. But the thing of concern was that she was actually leaving the frying pan to the fire.

Her husband-to-be was that Alpha Ryder. She's heard many scary rumors about him and knowing that she was even sold to him to do nothing other than breeding an heir for him was painful. Well, it's not like she has any other choice.

She entered her grand room and found the maids who'd been taking good care of her. While contemplating, she sat on the bed and let them continue the treatments they'd prepared for her.

The next day.

Alvina was woken up at 5 in the morning and the maids gave her the last of their treatments, also gently dolling her up.

Before now, she'd never worn makeup, but today, everything befitting a bride was done to her, however, she couldn't be any chuffed regarding it. She felt there was no need to even wear a wedding gown. But her words and feelings don't matter at this point.

After everything, she looked at herself in the mirror. Staring back at her was a dainty young beauty attired in a white mermaid wedding gown that wonderfully highlighted her womanly curves and ample bosom. The pearl necklace around her neck made her otherwise bare shoulders look tempting.

The door suddenly opened. She didn't need to turn around to know who it was. Her walking style and irritating perfume always proclaimed her identity.

"Hello, future whore. No, scratch that, you are already one. Congratulations!" her annoying stepsister said to her in a mocking fashion, applauding loudly.

Alvina turned around to face the uninvited bitch, but didn't say a word to her.

"Aww! Look at those reddened eyes. You're upset? Are you unwilling to leave us? Trust me, every good daughter feels that way. Don't worry. If you can get pregnant for your husband within one month and deliver a son, he'll set you free and you'll be super rich. But, if you can't..."

Gabriella need not complete her words because she knew Alvina understood the gravity of the situation.

If she failed to get pregnant for Alpha Ryder within the stipulated time or she indeed conceived but birthed a female, there was only one outcome- She will be sent back to the Blood Stone pack, dead and dismembered.

Alvina could only imagine what will happen to her after now.

Under her long floral sleeves, Alvina balled both hands into fists, while wearing a bogus smile, "Thank you for coming to soothe me, dear sister. I'll never forget your 'kindness',"

"That's great. Now we don't want to keep your groom's Delta waiting, right?" Gabriella took the not-too-translucent white veil and concealed her older step-sister's face with it. After doing that, she took Alvina's right hand and both left the room.

God I hate this fake family of hers, I’m hope some how she is vindicated and gets her rightful pack back to her even though her own biological father resented her.
