Chapter 47 - It concerns Ariana and Dario

Miranda was asleep when she heard the beep sound of her phone and lazily picked it up to check. Shock covered her eyes when she saw the message. Somehow, she felt embittered but couldn’t allow information like this to travel. Instantly, she responded,

‘Do you have a picture of the girl?’

‘Yes. Find attached,’ an instant response came through.

When she saw the picture, her heart sank but she couldn’t let her friend know and sent back,

‘STOP SPREADING FALSE RUMORS. She is his secretary and she might be pregnant with somebody else’s child. Cadda is too disciplined to do that and don’t let the Blades target you for spreading something like this.’

‘I’ve deleted the picture and everything. Please pretend that I didn’t text you just now.’

‘I’m going back to sleep.’ Miranda texted back.

She should be happy if Caddaric was indeed the father of Ariana’s child but she wasn’t. If Caddaric would reject her, why not do it before sleeping with Ariana? The earlier he did, the better for her to reuni
