Mia
I opened my eyes after hearing a noise from outside. I let out a yawn stretching lazily before getting up from the bed. I rubbed my eyes tiredly walking around the room aimlessly till I finally settled on the couch coming back to reality.
I noticed a paper on the couch; I took it and opened it to read:
“Change into those. Meet me in the room four doors away from yours heading right.
-Corey”
There were clothes resting on the hem of the couch; it was a maroon long sleeve top along with a black shorts. It seemed like ladies’ dress causing me to wonder how he got hold of it. I got into it; it was fitted on me shockingly.
I headed to his room wondering why he needed me. I opened the door stepping outside slamming it shut before heading to his room. I was staring at the paintings to master my way back, four doors away heading right.
I began to head right counting the number of doors but it was as though the doors were far away from each other.
“Hey!” a voice seethed from behind me. I didn’t think it was referring to me so I just continue walking not bulging at all.
“Are you deaf? You!” the voice called out louder this time. It sounded closer though. I turned back to come across a young guy with curled blonde hair with green-orbed eyes.
“Me?” I asked pointing to myself. He rolled his eyes giving a frustrating sigh.
“Obviously” he stated. He finally caught up with me standing in front of me. As expected, he was taller than me but not as tall as the mystery man. He frowned at the sight of me.
“Who are you? I don’t seem to have seen you anywhere in this pack before” he demanded.
Pack? Like the pack house Corey mentioned earlier?
“Umm… yes, I am new here” he arched his brow looking as confuse as ever. Was it a crime to be new?
“New? Were you recently brought in this pack by your mate or something?” he questioned. I instantly remembered what Corey had told me to say.
“It’s none of your business” I replied. He clenched his jaw staring straight at me. He looked pissed causing my heart to skip in fear. He leaned closer to me and grabbed my jaw roughly.
“You must be new here and that’s the only reason I’ll let this slide. I am the Beta of this Pack and you have to show some respect” I knitted my brows in absolute confusion releasing myself from his hold.
“What does he mean Beta of the pack and I need to show some respect? Is it like a title given unto the gang members?” I murmured under my breath. His eyes widened in total horror. Had he heard what I said? It was in a low tone.
“What’s your name?” he asked.
“Mia Rivers” I replied blankly. It seemed as though realization dawned on him as he muttered some curses under his breath.
“Shit” he cursed. “Look Mia, I’m sorry for the way I did to you. It was just my wolf in action and-” he cut himself off staring at me.
“Your wolf? You have a wolf as pet?” I asked staring at him. He seems to be dumbfounded as he just nodded his head curtly. Was he alright?
“Umm… Yes, I do. That’s the reason I was mad at you because you reminded me of my wolf” he stated bluntly. I stared at him in shock nodding my head slowly.
“Okay. I’m heading to-”
“Yes, I know. Just go” he stated walking out of me. He was kind of weird just like that mystery man. Why was here so awkward? I sighed in frustration.
Not only was I confused on the environment I was in, I had lost track of how many doors I’d passed. I just continued walking front until I saw a lady come out from a room. I gasped in horror tilting my face to the side.
It was that red-haired lady from earlier on; I prayed she doesn’t see me. I took a quick glance at her raising my brows at her. She was blushing furiously tracing her lips with her index finger. She let out a giggle turning around and ran off heading the other way.
Could that be his office she came out from? Blushing? I walked to the door she had emerged from opening it slowly and stepping inside.
“What is it again, Allison? Do you need-?” he cut himself in sight of staring at me. It was Corey. I looked at his eyes before staring at the ground. That was her name? Allison?
I felt upset that he had mistaken me for that mean lady.
“It’s you, Rainfall. Here sit. I would like to explain some certain things to you” he stated patting next to him gesturing for me to sit.
I walked over to him and sat next to him but not near him. I sat at the other end of the couch feeling uncomfortable with the way he was staring at me. He shifted near me leaning closer to me. I gulped at the proximity he gave off.
“Are you scared, Rainfall? Your heart is beating faster than usual” he asked tilting his to the side to glare at me. It was true. My heart was indeed beating faster due to the aura he gave off. I knitted my brows in confusion.
“How do you know the rate of my heartbeat, Alpha” I asked looking at him in uncertainly. He stared at me open-mouthed like he was searching for words to say.
“It’s quite simple to figure out one’s heartbeat. It’s a trick that I learnt years ago. Study one’s facial expression and you’ll be able to know, Rainfall” he retorted squatting down in front of me.
His ocean blue eyes staring at me with a straight face; causing me to look down at the floor. He was handsome but was also dangerous.
“Things run different here from where you’re used to, Rainfall” he stated. I nodded curtly.
“I know. All gangs have different way of carrying routines” I whispered. He arched a brow up staring at me before he parted his lips like he had realized something. He let out a chuckle staring at me in disbelief.
“No, Rainfall. This is not a gang and I’m not a gang leader.” He stated. I stared at him in suspicion knowing he was lying. Neither did I believe him nor his words.
“You were with guns and you were even killing innocent people at the auction. You were dressed in an indecent manner-” his eyes diluted pure black causing me to shut my mouth.
“The people at the auction were not innocent people, Rainfall and you know that. You could have been sold to a dirty old drunkard. This is not a gang nor am I gang leader. I am an Alpha of White Fangs Pack. This is a pack house” he stated with authority dripping from his voice.
My eyes widened at how commanding how looked. His eyes were purely black no traces of his once blue eyes. He got up staring down at me.
“There are things here you must take precaution of and the first one is the way you talk to me” he stated heading to his desk. I stared at him in disbelief at how short-tempered he is.
“Go to your room, Rainfall” he ordered. I swallowed at the aura he gave. I got off of the couch walking to the door. I opened it and was about stepping outside when he called me. I turned facing him.
“You’ll know when the time is right” he added.
I frowned at him not understanding him but I just nodded before getting out. I let out a breath I didn’t even know I was holding. What did he mean this time around? I stared at the chandeliers hung high in the ceiling.
This mansion looked like a puzzle waiting for me to solve. What did he mean he was an Alpha of ‘White Fangs Pack?’
If this wasn’t a gang or a cult group or sort? What is it then? I needed to do some research, it hasn’t even been a day yet and so much has happened. I started heading to my room counting doors and staring at pictures.
I felt arms pull me backwards and slammed me on the wall pining me to it. I gasped in shock completely unaware of what was happening.
I stared at the figure opening my mouth in terror.
It was the mean lady from earlier; she was raging as she stared at me.
This was bad…
She looks at me in pure disgust. I scrunched my face on why she was holding me down. She leaned closer to me staring directly into my voice. “I don’t know who you are or what you are doing but I’m warning you for the first and last time. Stay away from my man. Alpha Corey is not on your league, Whore” she whispered. Who is this lady and what is she talking about? I pulled away from her grip staring away from her. "Excuse me? I have no idea on what you’re talking about” I stated plainly. She doesn’t have the rights to call me names, does she? “Really?” she smirked folding her hands. “Then I don’t think you’ve heard of me yet. I am Allison Jameson, Corey’s girlfriend. I am the next Luna of this Pack and I don’t like seeing bitches like you hung around him” she grabbed my jaw with so much force causing me to whimper. She is so strong I couldn’t even pull away her hands. “Got it?” she asked only to get no response from me. When she
“What do you mean Corey is in the right position to tell me? It’s so confused staying in an unknown place” I supposed turning to face them. “You don’t understand, Mia. It’s not something we can blabber about. Period. Now back to our initial reason for coming here, aren’t you a little lonely staying here?” Ella questioned folding her arms. “I-umm…it’s just been a day” I responded her. “Well now you’re no longer alone because we’ll be here with you; chatting with you, playing games and all those shit. Now brazen up and stop investigating us like we stole your meat” Sharon uttered bringing live into the air. Was I supposed to be living good like this? I was sold to a mystery man who brought me to an unknown place and now I suddenly have friends and eat delicious meal. “Corey bought me at an auction. How do you expect me to forget all that and feel comfortable?” “What do you mean he bought you?!” Ella screeched. “Was it at Michael’s auction? You were there as one of his victims?” s
He tucked my hair to the back once again before he continued to play with my hair. It felt nice to have my hair in his fingers. He drew closer to my ear causing the tip of his nose to graze my ear. I shivered a bit at his actions.“It’s because you’re my peace, Rainfall. When it rains, everywhere is always at peace so as when I met you. I felt peace with you, baby girl” he stated causing my cheeks to redden. I bit my lower lip biting back my smile.I needed to leave now. I didn’t know this man and for some reason he had the biggest effects on me he wouldn’t even dream of.“Umm…I got to go” I was surprised I was able to form sentence. He stared at me for a while before he pulled away walking towards the door. I followed him walking behind him.He opened it gesturing for me to step out. I sent him a small smile before walking out. I turned around to look at him again. He was leaning on the door wi
CoreyI stared at her as she laid on the clinic bed unconscious with bandage on her head. How could this happen right under my nose? I should have felt it. I should have felt the rate of her heart beat but I just wasn’t focused on that.My wolf, Max, was angry with himself that he couldn’t protect mate. I swear I’m going to rip Allison to shreds. How dare she lay a finger on her Luna?“Alpha, you need to calm down. She is going to be fine, trust me” Riley stated. I stared wildly at her.“I should be calm? How can you be telling me that, Ril? It took place just a few doors from my room and I couldn’t do any fucking thing about it. Do you know how useless it makes look” I poured out.“Alpha, she is going to wake up in a few minutes. What do you think will happen if she sees you like this? How will you comfort her when you are yet to become calm?” she stated crossing her arms
Mia“We would leave you to rest, make sure you have a sound sleep” Ella whispered. I just smiled at her.“Thank you, Ella” Sharon had left a while ago to fix some things. She gave me a small smile before closing the door. It felt so lonely in here. I no longer had bandage wrapped around my headSharon had removed it saying I wasn’t looking attractive. She had replaced it with her plastering the spot of the injury. She had given me pain killers.I smiled at the fact that for some reason, I had someone to look after me.The door creaked open causing me to lift my gaze at the intruder. It was Corey. For some reason, there was a sudden joy in my heart on seeing him.“Hey” he let out.“Hi?” it sounded more like a question than response. He walked over to me causing me to sit upright. I winced in pain of my injured arm. He leaned closer to support me.“Be careful, Rainfall” he whispered. It felt nice seeing this part of him. He sat on a stool close to me stroking my hair to the back.“I kno
“Wooaahhh, yeah” I howled in excitement as he just kept on running faster. It was like he was riding a motorbike. I held his ears as I began playing with them.“Faster, faster, power bike. Go harder and faster!” I yelled.Oh no, that came out so wrong.“Wow, I never knew you wanted me this bad, Rainfall” he mocked. I just chuckled.“You wish” I snorted. He halted in front of what looked like a wooden cabin; it was covered by the trees excluding the front view of it.“Why are we here?”“We are going to stay here for the night. Do you want to come down now?” he asked more like he was telling me to get down.I just rolled my eyes as I carefully got down from his wolf as he just lowered his head to the ground. I walked forward intending to enter the cabin when I heard the sound of bones snapping.I instantly turned my head around and saw Corey. He had changed back to his human form and he was…BARE? I gasped in discomfiture and instantly covered my eyes with my right palm.“Y-you are bare,
“Then cut the crap and come over here” he uttered in an authoritative voice.“Fine” I gently walked over and got on the bed but I didn’t lie close to him. I lied a bit far away from him. I just held the hem of the auburn blouse I was putting on.I gasped as I felt muscular arms pull me backwards. He pulled me close to him. I felt my back on his chest; he rested his head on the crook of my neck.“You are so difficult, Rainfall. Sometimes, I find it hard to predict you” he whispered in a fond voice in my ear causing shivers to run down my spines.I shivered slightly at the feeling of his warm breath on my neck. My lips parted as he spun me over in a way that I was met with blue orbs. I just stared at him quite confused at why he was smirking. He began leaning closer to me, I was making a fool out of myself with the way I was shivering in distress. I summoned courage and tried to get up but was slammed back on the bed causing a loud gasp to escape from my lips.He got on top of me pinnin
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping, the rustling of the dried leaves against the wind. The ray of sun shone reflecting in my eyes, I let out a yawn intending to get up but was pulled back down by arms draped around my waist. I looked up to see an oval-shaped face with high cheek bones sound asleep. I smiled at the fact that he looked calm while he was asleep. I gently touched his face as I begin to stroke it. I moved upwards to feel his soft and messy dark brown hair; he looked like a bunny that was asleep. His ocean blue orbs came into view causing me to gasp in fright. “You know it’s bad to stare, Rainfall” a rough masculine voice seethed out. My cheeks immediately reddened at the mere thought that he was awake while I was doing all of those. I instantly dropped my hands and averted my gaze from him. He held my chin up causing me to look into his eyes. I was flustered at the way he grinned at me. He leaned forward and kissed my forehead. “Good morning, Rainfall. How was y
