COLLIDED

Elijah froze instantly and cussed at Marcus as he left the palace. He had initially thought that he had brought him out of the manor to set him free and order him out of the palace, but he was disappointed when none of that happened.

In no time, after Marcus had fully departed from their sight, the guards ran a chain around Elijah's arms and pushed him into the dungeon meant for slaves.

He couldn't believe his eyes the moment he was thrown into the dungeon, and soon, he began to sob quietly and blame the Moon goddess for ever sending Marcus his way as his friend.

This wouldn't have been happening to him if they weren't friends, and if Elijah hadn't let Marcus know a lot of things about him. Now, he was using their relationship as an advantage to milk out every vital information from Elijah and then turn out against him at the end of the day.
