CHAPTER 54

“Elena,” the chef finally said. “You all earned your spot to enter the next stage, congratulations”. I felt tears of joy leaving my eyes but I immediately wiped them off so they wouldn't be noticed by others. After class, I walked out to the parking lot where my driver was patiently waiting for me.

I entered the car and we drove back home, when I got into the hallway I began to act sad, so one would think I failed. I came across a maid and stopped her to ask her a question.

“Hello,” I said to her “Is the don home?” I asked curiously

“Ma'am he got back a few minutes ago” she replied politely. I gave a nod and said, “Thank you”.

I walked towards the left wing, I wanted to see him. I got to his door and knocked “come In” I heard him say so I opened the door and walked in.

I looked at him with a sad face, “How did your day go, Lu” still holding up my sad look. But he didn't reply to my question; he was rather concerned with my mood.

“What is the wrong darling? Why are you sa
