Damon’s POV

“Can we?” she asked. I almost didn’t hear her because of how small her voice was. Her head was lowered, her lashes trembling, and she kept picking at the hem of her uniform like it would save her.

I stared at her, taken off guard.

She looked… cute. Too cute. And that irritated me.

Before I could say anything, she suddenly dropped to her knees, rubbing her palms together like some street beggar caught stealing bread.

“Please, Alpha,” she pleaded, eyes wide and dramatic. “I was possessed! I don’t even remember what I said. I swear, it wasn’t me! You know I can’t say something like that. Please forgive me, Alpha.”

What in the hell? I wasn’t expecting this. I wanted to be met with defiance.

She rambled on, practically throwing herself at my mercy. I would’ve laughed if it wasn’t so damn entertaining.

I crossed my arms and waited for her to shut up.

When she finally ran out of breath, I said coolly, “I’ll let it slide… on one condition.”

Her head snapped up. “What condition?”

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Pesky thing

Author's POV*Damon doesn’t see you as a woman.*That was the only sentence that remained with me after Anne left. I didn’t really consider her warning regarding Danielle and Urmi, after spending time in the pack, I already knew I wasn’t the only one chasing after Damon’s heart. They say you can’t advise someone in love. Now I understand why.My knuckles tapped lightly against the door but I was met with silence. Was he asleep?I pressed my ear against the door. There were sounds but it was hard to make out. I knocked again, still keeping my head against the door. The door suddenly flew open, and I lost my balance and fell into the room. I slowly lifted my gaze and froze.Smooth legs. A woman’s legs.I scrambled up, my breath caught in my throat as my eyes followed the shape of her body. She was in a nightgown, sleek, short, and leaving no room for the mind to wonder what’s underneath. One strap had slipped off her shoulder, and the swell of her chest was exposed, her nipples firm aga

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   You can't fight alone

Author's POV“Alpha Damon hasn’t made a single sound for hours,” Elder Gilbert muttered, voice gravelly, his thick brows scrunched into a knot that hadn’t loosened since last night.“This has not happened before. Are you sure he hasn’t escaped through the windows again? Like last time?”I clenched my jaw, the memory cutting in too fast. “No,” I replied, sharper than intended. “There are no windows in that cell. I made damn sure.”I remembered the last time too well. Damon had clawed through the bars like paper and leapt out of the small opening we’d stupidly overlooked. By the time we found him, four of our own were bleeding out, and one… didn’t make it.Nanny Tessa stood near the doorway, hands twisted into her apron. “It’s just too quiet,” she whispered to no one in particular. “He should’ve gone out there, taken down some scum like he always does… not this. Why did he choose this instead?”I paced around deep in thought. Did my plan work? I had read that one’s mate can control the

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Take that bracelet off!

Sabrina's POVBack in my room, I freshened up and put on my Kitchen and headed to the kitchen. My least money with Damon left off strange and awakened, but that did not rid me of the joy I felt in my chest. I felt…free, loved, accepted. With that joy, I entered the kitchen, all smiles. I hoped that I would be greeted with cheerful faces, possibly a squeal or two. I was excited to see the girls. They must’ve known I was back, news traveled fast in this pack. The last time we saw each other, they were all crying, afraid they wouldn’t see me again. However, it all seemed wrong as I entered the kitchen. There was the rattle of pots and chopping knives, but the chatter that usually filled the kitchen was absent. The girls paused when they noticed my presence and I smiled widely at them, expecting the same from them but instead, they went back to their duties and ignored me like I were air.My brows knitted. “Hello,” I said softly, my voice laced with uncertainty but I got no response.I ma

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Take me to her

Author's POVDanielle walked through the halls of the pack house without any clear destination in mind. Her mind was blank, unable to make sense of the fact that Ian ran after her.She had been preparing her mind for this moment, but it still stung nonetheless. .She knew he was conflicted. She knew his heart was tangled in too many threads to settle easily. Still, she had not expected him to break the kiss so abruptly when Darla appeared, had not expected him to step away from her like she was something he needed to put distance between. And she certainly had not expected him to run after Darla. That part hurt the most. Her fingers curled into the fabric of her dress as she walked, nails biting into her palms. She told herself not to cry. She rounded a corner, her thoughts spiraling, and then she froze. She saw Nymeria walking down towards her from the far end of the corridor. Danielle’s steps slowed instinctively. Something about the way Nymeria was walking toward her made her sk

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Glowing bracelet

Damon's POV"Can the bride and the groom open the dance floor?" The officiating minister spoke.Gladly. I've been waiting for this moment all through the ceremony. With a smile on my face, I stood up smoothing the nonexistent creases from my suit before turning to Sabrina. I stretched out my hands called her name.“Sabrina.”She jerked, like she had been pulled out of somewhere far away. For a heartbeat, her eyes looked unfocused, distant, and it scared me more than I wanted to admit. Then she smiled and placed her hand in mine.“I’m here,” she said. Her fingers felt warm, a little damp. I tightened my grip without meaning to. I had spent the entire day watching her, counting her breaths, memorizing every movement of her body as if my attention alone could keep her safe. Still, she managed to slip somewhere I could not follow.I brought her hand to my lips. “Come dance with me.”She hesitated for the smallest second, then nodded. I guided her toward the center of the hall. People we
