Shifting from her right foot to the left, Janette noticed that she was agitated. Solomon hasn’t talked to her for the past one week; the only reason she’d come to see him was to tell him that she would be living for Spain. She wouldn’t want him hearing it from someone else. Hesitantly, Janette rang the doorbell and took a few steps away from the door. Her eyes roamed around as nervousness swept over her. She waited for about a minute and nobody came to open the door. Janette contemplated ringing the doorbell again, with heavy heart she reached for the doorbell and the door fleet open.

“H-hi,” Janette said almost above a whisper and stared at Rebecca confusingly. What’s Rebecca doing at Sol’s apartment? Is he now having an affair with his classmates? She knew Rebecca had been making passes at him for over one year, but Sol promised to have nothing to do with her.
