Marissa I sit in a chair in front of a mirror while a skinny and beautiful woman in her early thirties works her magic on my hair. I can barely recognize the woman that looks back at me from the other side of the looking glass. Gone are the dark circles around my eyes. Marissa My head hurts, and my throat and my back and everything else as well. I am exhausted and feel cold to the bone. When I look at myself in the mirror I’m pale with dark circles around my eyes.
