Chapter fifteen

I knew I couldn't let go of my bag because it contained all the evidence the government would use in arresting Tunde Ibrahim. I had been so stupid thinking about climbing fences and had forgotten to take my bag, along with me while climbing the stupid fence.

The dog gave out a loud bark and I winced. He gave out another bark, I closed my eyes in dismay.

Just then, it occurred to me that I had two chocolate candies Inside my pant's pocket. I reached for it, and started peeling of the wrap. While peeling the wrapping, the dog watched me. I threw the chocolate candy at him when I was done with unveiling the wrap. And the dog caught it mid-air, flattened his ears and started chewing the candy. When he was through, he looked up at me, hoping for another one.

"Ingrate." I hissed at him.
