Returning from a bar that same night I had met with the crazy reporter, I got numerous calls, texts from Rachael and Bolu. But I wasn't in the mood to talk, or reply text messages. i kept declining and they were hell bent on calling, because they refused to give up.
Most especially Rachael.I wondered why Rachael was pestering the shit outta me. At first, she had doubted I would win the case for her. And when I did win the case, she started getting interested in me. Always calling to check up on me as if I was some kind of a deformed old man at a retirement home.
She even invited me to her party which I couldn't attend because of the reporter that ruined my mood. And now, she was calling when the time read 10:52pm.
