When Alex's car drove out of the compound, I decided to take the dogs out for a walk. To free my limbs and my mind off him.

The estate was big, and filled with wealthy people. So I could see people jugging and carrying out exercise. And they were staring at me, like I was someone foreign. Plus the dogs were huge like horses, making people back away in fear.

I was in their middle, holding their massive chains. My hair was in a messy bun at the top of my head. I hadn't had the time to shower or brush my hair. I was putting on my cotton see through shirt, shorts and flip-flops.

I felt a little bit free, like a normal person, like didn't have problems and my life was at risk.

"Are these dogs yours?" A guy who was jogging at my side, asked me in a fak
