Chapter seventeen
Writer's POV
She snapped her eyes back to him, just in time to catch his eyes. Eyes that had been on her all those while she had been lost in her thoughts. He had watched her in silence, and she wanted to know what was going on in his mind as well. But he wasn't staring at her like he wanted to sleep with her. He was looking at her with care. Like she was someone who had a special place in his heart.
She saw his hand moving, and then he placed it untop hers.
She gave him a curious look, wordlessly asking him what he was up to. But he chose to remain silent, and then caressed her hand. Making her feeling the heat that was radiating from his warm big paw.
He did this for sometime, and she thought maybe he was trying to make her feel warm, since she had complained about feeling cold earlier.
