Chapter sixteen

Writer's POV

For weeks, Bolu didn't see Dave. Even when he went to his apartment to check if he was around, it was just his friend she had seen. 

She began missing his presence whenever she went to that particular restaurant, and and he wasn't there. She began wondering if it was because of what had transpired between them on that night, that he had refused coming to the restaurant. 

The way he had bade her goodnight and left, had seem somewhat final. That he would stop being her friend, and leave her alone. But she hadn't taken it serious. She thought she was going to see him again the next day. 

But when she didn't see him the whole of that week, she began wondering if he had made the decision to stop coming around. And when she didn't see him at the restaurant either, she didn't want to think he had stopped coming there as well. It felt so unusual with him absent on there.
