Writer's POV
"Shhhh, it's okay. You're going to be free. You will be. I guarantee you that, you hear me?" He said into her hair, stroking gently on her back.
"You will get your freedom again." He soothed, tucking the strands of hair that fell over her face, at the side of her ear.
She let out a big whopping breath, then nodded. And then decided not to cry anymore. Alex had said she was going to get her freedom again. So that made her feel a tad better.
Alex stroked on her back, until her sobs reduced into soft breathing.
"Feel better now?" He asked a few moments later.
"Yeah." She said, slowly. Almost in a whisper.
They fell into silence for sometime, about a minute or two.
Writer's POVJust as Alex thought she had gone to sleep, he heard her said so suddenly."You're a good man, Jinsu. A good man. Yeah, you might be annoying at times. Even your silence gets on my nerves, you can use harsh and hurtful words that you don't mean, to chase people away from you. I know this about you. And I know that you're a good man."Despite that she was drunk, she felt he deserved to know."Loosen yourself up. Because life has so much to offer. Tomorrow isn't promise. One can fall ill, or Godforbid, die anytime. So why not live life to the fullest, now that you have the chance to?"
Writer's POVShe let out a yawn, then carried on. "You can do all these, when you stop giving access to your past, to hunt you. We are in the present, whatever made you this cold and frigid, is in the past. And should be kept in the past." She took a slow, careful breath. Looking like she wanted to loose conciousness."I want to know more about you." Were the last words she told him, before she fell asleep.Mia woke up and saw Alex buckling her seat belt in the car. "You smell so clean, and good. Like rich fresh lemons." She couldn't help telling him those words. Then she fell back into her sleep. After that, she barfed on him when he carried her into his car. Before returning back to sleep. Apparently, this made him so pissed.

Writer's POV She flicked her one eye open, at the sound of the vexatious alarm clock. Then returned back to sleep. Wondering who the hell put the Alarm clock out. It felt like some one was hitting her head with a hammer, because she was having an heart shattering migraine. "Fuck!" Mia hissed, and then let out a moan that sounded muffled against the pillow she had her face on. When she completely flicked her eyes open, she was nearly blinded by the harsh aggressive sunlight which, shone through her windows. Who the fuck put the curtains out this time!? She wondered Groaning, she pressed her face tight into her pillow, but she couldnt return back to sleep. It felt like she was beaten thoroughly. Her head and eyes hurt. Shit. She hissed It hurt even to think. Her mouth felt dry, and she could taste the grossness in her tongue. She was having a morning stink ass breath. That even with her mout
Writer's POVThe night he, Alex had found her in the bush at the side of the road, and had saved her.Hearing all these made me clenched his fists, because he felt the strong urge to punch something, or someone.Mia finished with tears streaming down her cheeks. And she watched how Alex grew still, breathing heavily.Hearing all what she had been through made his blood boil. He wondered how could such a young and innocent woman suffer this much? And they were still looking for her to take her life.Alex was angry, mad and furious that if he could lay his hands on those men, including her boss, he would be charged for murder. He couldn't breath, he wanted to kill them all with his bare hands. To make them suffer like she did.He wanted to beat someone to pulp. He wanted to kill someone so badly that he was finding it difficult to breath. His body was vibrating from rage, making his teeth to chatter inside his mouth.
Writer's POV"You hurt yourself." Mia said as she disengage herself from the hug and took hold of his bleeding hand in hers."Its nothing." He replied nonchalantly, letting out a small shrug."No, you're bleeding." She persisted, worried."Do you have First Aid kit?" She questioned as she stared up at him with concern laced in her big wide eyes. Eyes that had seen so much, to Alex.Mia was really worried that Alex was bleeding. She wanted to do something to help him."No." Alex replied to her question. Although, there was First Aid kit. He had it somewhere around the house. But he just wanted to see what she would do.Because she was acting all caring. He badly wanted to kiss her that moment that he couldn't breath. She was just so beautiful and innocent, so pure and natural. To him."I'll go get-""Mia?" Alex called softly."Yes?" She replied, then tipped her head up to stare at him. He
MiaFlashbackI kissed him back, and his hands moved to my back, and stroked lightly. He broke the kiss, winked at me, then he climbed on the bike. While me on the other hand, was panting deeply. What he just did was so sweet and unexpected.I could feel my smile huge on my face."You're going to hold unto me." He threw a backwards glance at me, when he said this.I nodded, kept the helmet properly on my head, then held unto his waist with my hands.I felt his body stiffened a little at this, and I smiled inwardly. Glad that a few touches from me, could affect him as well.It was obvious I had effect on me, the way he had effect on me. We shared mutual feelings.I smiled inwardly, feeling giddy on the inside. Almost forgetting that someone was after my life. And that person was roaming freely on the roads of Lagos.I gulped and then decided not to think about Tunde Ibrahi
BoluThunder growled and clapped heavily in th sky, which indicated that there was going to be a heavy down pour of rain. Even the clouds were getting dark and gloomy, creating a picture that was quite pleasing to the eyes.I looked away from the glass windows, and casted my eyes to the people moving to and fro, rolling their carts and getting the stuffs they wanted from shelves and trolleys.I rested my gaze on the kids who were running about happily. And then placed my own hand on my stomach, in attempt of feeling the baby there.I was at the mall, getting the things I would be needing for the rest of the week.Over the past few days, I was enjoying more of being in the open, and staring at people. Watching from afar with my dark shades on, taking in details of what they were going about with. It was what I always found myself doing. And it was obvious it was the baby ma
