She stared at me oddly, with her eyes studying my face. I knew it was stupid of me grabbing her by the arm, but I felt the urge to help her.
"Listen to me." I said, tightening my grip on her arm, when she tried breaking free from my hold. Raising her head up to look at me, her face twisted into a giant scowl.
"I saw and heard everything that occurred between you and the usher guy at the door. I'll help you get a dress." I offered.
Her big eyes shone and her sassy mouth quivered.
Although, she was dressed like a boy, but that couldn't disguise the fact that she was pretty. She was light skinned, tall, bony with no curves and gangly. Big bulgy eyes and full luscious lips. She wasn't smiling but her dimples were visible.
