A month had passed since Penny saw her ex-fiancé. Ives was waiting for Penny to beg him. Every day, he checked his phone to see if there were any text messages from her.

Sometimes he would ask his secretary if Penny had called him while he was in the meeting. His secretary would look at him puzzled and replied, “No, Sir.”

To forget Ives, Penny decided to have a Fashion Show on the 3rd of May. She personally sent invitation cards to prominent people in the fashion industry and invited businessmen. However, she didn’t invite her ex-fiancé.

Ives nearly went crazy when his friend, Jace Cobbs, showed him the invitation card. He couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw the date.

How could Penny replace their wedding date with a Fashion Show? A suffocating feeling overwhelmed him. He couldn't breathe. Was it possible that Penny didn’t love him anymore? He started panicking.

He didn’t see it coming. He thought Penny would come crawling back to him. Unfortunately, Penny was moving on with her life

I don't believe he was in love with her. I don't think they should get married if he is going to tell her who to be friends with. And, I'm sure Penny told Ives all about the Earl family and the way they treated her. She tried to go mend the fence a few times, but they never accepted her.

Two hours later, Judge Channing walked to the courtroom with other judges in tow. He sat down on the bench and said, “Mr Cliff, please stand. I have reviewed the evidence presented by Mr Wells, as well as the closing arguments.I am deeply disappointed in you, Mr Cliff, for violating the Constitution. Therefore, you are hereby sentenced to three years imprisonment. The court couldn't ignore Miss Ball’s testimony even though Mrs Saxon felt that she was lying. There is no enmity between Mrs Cliff and Miss Ball. Mrs Cliff has visited Miss Ball several times in prison, which indicates that they are best friends. Therefore, I believed Miss Ball’s testimony. Why would she put her best friend’s marriage in jeopardy? For obstructing the course of justice, I sentence you to ten years imprisonment without parole. The sentences would run concurrently.”His mother felt dizzy, then she collapsed on the floor, clutching her chest and gasping for air. Fortunately, there were paramedics in the parking

  • Sorry, It Was My Fault   Chapter 281 To Gloat

Michaela shook her head and replied, “Mr Wells, as much as I want Mr Cliff to be punished severely for every pain he put me and my baby through, I don’t think Miss Ball is telling the truth.A few months after I was sentenced to prison, Miss Ball visited me to gloat. During our conversation, not even once did she mention Mr Cliff’s name. She told me that she lied under oath because she was in love with Mr Thorne Ferguson, and I believed her. Hence, I am saying she is lying.I think she is jealous of Miss Ava for living a happy life with her husband and their children while she is locked up in prison. She didn’t want to see her best friend happy.”Ava was stunned when she heard Michaela’s words. She thought Michaela would use Sloane’s testimony to destroy Jeff’s life. She looked at Michaela in a different light. Was Sloane really jealous of her marriage?Owen smiled at her and said, “I don’t have further questions for this witness, Your Honour.” Then he sat down. When Owen was reading S

Then I stopped being friends with him.”Owen looked at Archie and said, “Mr Lane, I believe you hav

  • Sorry, It Was My Fault   Chapter 278 Ugly Heart

Jeff Cliff’s heart was in turmoil. He didn’t understand why Sloane was spouting lies about him because he had never wronged her before.
