Chapter 44

Luca Genovese sat on a mighty chair inside an abandoned warehouse.He watched as his men beat Matteo Vidal into a pulp.

There was blood stains splattered everywhere on the floor and even though the poor guy was close to death,he didn't order them to stop.

He smoked his cigarette,oblivious to his groans and pleas.

One of the bodyguards grabbed Matteo by the collar.

"Will you speak or do you prefer to die?!" he yelled

Blood sputtering from his mouth and filling his face,he shook his head.

"I..I don't know anything about Aurora.She only works in the same place I work."

Another blow landed on his nose,breaking it in the process.They kept beating him until he couldn't move a limb.

He laid there sprawled on the floor,his grey shirt battered with blood.

That moment a car pulled up outside of the warehouse.

Leo appeared.He frowned at the sight on the floor.He walked over to Luca.
