“Get her out of here” Gabriel shouts. Samuel continues his majestic walk towards Rachael who just stares in fear.Sweat drips down her face and her lips vibrate as she shivers with a pounding heart.Alex attempts to charge but he quickly raises the gun and shoots her in the chest until she drops.Samuel helps Rachael up and points the gun towards Dracula and his goons in the room. Baltimore, Maryland. NY. John and Mary, Mrs McQueen, arrive at Maryland where the map leads. They are heading towards Winans Meadow. If this is where the dagger is then there is hope for them to destroy the enemy. John drives past Leon Day Park. The blond vampire admires the environment as the sun’s light dims. He glances at Mrs McQueen with the side of his eyes, her eyes are closed and her breathing is moderate. She seems to be asleep but John knows better, he has known Mary for years and she never sleeps around anything not human. “Your husband picked a lovely place to hide a magical killing weapon,” John says. “What is that supposed to mean?” she asks, her stare piercing through John like a million daggers. “I thought you were asleep”, “You know I’m not. Rachael fidgets with her hands and plays with her silver ring, she is nervous as she stares down at her feet and can’t help but wonder what will happen now. She sits at a wooden counter, where Cassandra comes along, “Here”, Cassandra hands her a glass of water. “Thank you” Rachael accepts the glass and glances at Cassandra as she notices the she-wolf staring at her. “What is it?” Rachael asks as she feels uncomfortable. Cassandra moves closer to Rachael and tries to touch her hair but the smaller woman swiftly slaps her hand away. This woman clearly knows nothing about personal space. “Nothing, I just want to feel your hair. John gasps for breath as his body is jolted to life, he finds himself at the backseat of a car with two men in front. One of the men turns around to look at John who is shaken up. Of course, he has to be since he thought he was going to meet his family on the other side if he was lucky. But here he is, alive and awake. His mouth his dry and his belly churn as the image of his dead family flashes before him. Mary McQueen and John meet with an old friend of Mary’s a few blocks away from the vast land owned by You know who.She made a few calls to get him to bring weapons for them, to rescue Rachael and the twins. Steven Gerard stands at 5’11ft, he has broad shoulders that carry a thin neck and a bald head. He has light brown eyes and greybeards that beautify his sturdy-looking face. His fair skin is tainted by a tattoo that covers the entirety of his upper arm. He is an arms dealer but not the ordinary kind, the supernatural kind that sells stakes, wolfsbane and things like holy water. His inventory is not limited to these kinds of weapons as his arsenal ranges from pistols to rocket launchers. He stands with a stern face as he eyes John who returns his gaze with the same energy. He is accompanied by Philip, also an old friend of Mary’s. Philip looks quite frantic as he helps ready the weapons. “Mom?”, Rachael calls out to the figure in the dark and a familiar face appears. “Hey, baby girl” Mrs McQueen says to a 12year old Rachael. “Are you trying out a costume for Halloween?” Rachael asks as she moves her flowing long hair from her face and Mrs McQueen smiles. She wears a tight jacket with metal shoulder guard and a pair of black boots. Her jeans carry a sheathed dagger around her waist and there is something on her shoulder. It’s black and a bit dry. Gabriel, Samuel and John look at the dead vampires before their feet and smile feeling satisfied with their handiwork. They are odourless bearing a smell of nonexistence. “Let’s get out of here,” Gabriel says, Samuel adjusts his sleeves and John holds his jacket against his lap still covering Nightmare. John just witnessed the ferocity of the twins as he fought alongside them on enemy grounds, he thanked his stars for being on their side but it also reminds him about Dracula and sees how similar they are to their father. Will they be able to kill their father? The trio does not go far before bullets come flying toward them, John dives behind the twins while they standstill as the bullets hit them but inflicts no damage on their bodies.
