“Honey, can we speak privately?” Avery asked in a hushed tone, whilst taking another glance at the woman at the doorway. The first time she saw her, it was night and she thought the woman was beautiful but now, with that above-the-knee pleated skirt she wore with a matching handbag and black blazer, she was a wow.
