Taylor realized that the voice sounded familiar. All along, he hadn't taken a good look at the people around the table. He had also forgotten that this was a private room and not just for anyone.

As soon as his girlfriend went to use the washroom, he used the opportunity to come and see Joyce so he didn’t take time to look at those in her company. The shock at seeing the two men was like a flicker of light that blinded him.

Instantly, he withdrew his hand, when met with Martin’s dreadful gaze before shifting to Anderson’s warning countenance. ‘How did Joyce get to know the new business gurus in the market?’ Taylor was very amazed since Joyce was just a student.

“Mr Crown and Mr Stone, I didn’t mean to…”

“I think you should leave,” Martin said sternly, cutting him off. He sensed that it was an ex and if Joyce forgave him, then things would be difficult for Martin. The best thing was to keep Taylor far away from Joyce. Taylor didn’t dare to argue because the company in which he worked a
