Chapter Forty-One: It's your father's fault

My eyes slowly opened, and I found myself still laying within the same position on the floor. Lucas didn't take me up after the terrible thing both of us went through last night. I didn't want to label myself alone as a victim of his abuse, Lucas too was, for I know deep down he still loved me, and it was his dad trying to separate us. I got up from the floor and saw it was morning. I ran from the room, searching for Lucas. I wanted to see if he was fine and if he was hurting from what he did to me last night. I wanted to hold him in my arms and comfort him.

"Lucas," I called as I run downstairs. I ran into the living room, searching for him. He wasn't there. Soon the dining room, he wasn't there either.

"Lucas," I again called as I went into the kitchen.

He wasn't there as well except for his father. Someone, I wished I'd never met. I exited the kitchen and again call my mate.
