Chapter Forty-Two: My insane father-in-law
"Wake up," I heard a loud sound as I felt my body suddenly become soaked. I jumped up quickly and there I saw Lucas's dad with a large bucket in his hand. He poured water all over me.
"You're finally up," he said as he laughed.
I wiped my face terrifyingly and I tried to stand up. I slipped back to the floor falling onto my face. The floor was too wet and slippery. Mr. Rowan burst out into laughter and turned around exiting the room. I remained on the floor drenched from my hair down to my clothes crying my eyes out. I sobbed for what was happening now but recollecting what happened last night when my one true mate whose lips use to love caressing me and beautiful eyes that enjoyed the beauty of my face, throwing up after looking at me, disgusted by me.
