Chapter 27: Prince And Princess

It wasn't long before my thoughts got to me and it was unbearable to sit in the warm water any longer- just me and my thoughts. I climbed out of the tub, unwashed, not a single wrinkle on my fingers, and dried myself off with a fuzzy towel, wrapping one around my body and the other around my limp, soggy hair. I didn't want to wear the clothes I'd worn earlier today, the scent of blood clinging to them, so I decided to throw on a different outfit once I was in the sleeping area of the suit.

When I walked out of the bathroom, the cool air sent shivers through my body. I guessed I was more sensitive to the air because I was cooped up in a steam-filled bathroom for twenty minutes, but I quickly grew used to it and continued my search for an outfit.
