CHAPTER 53

Thomas' phone suddenly rang again and when he checked it, Vincent was the one calling him. He put his phone in a loudspeaker in order for Carlo to hear his conversation as well.

"Hello sir Thomas, I think I already know the relation of that young boy with the hostage!" said Vincent who was grasping to breathe.

"And how did you know about that?" Carlo asked.

"Answer him," said Thomas who knew that Carlo was indeed lying from the very start.

Thomas lowered his voice to avoid being caught by Sergio or his men. "His name is Efron, I happened to recognize his face because my daughter is a student of his. And the hostage's name is Tricia, I saw her twice at the bar and she was actually quite popular there. I managed to infiltrate their warehouse without being noticed so I guarantee you that I am right!"

Carlo felt it was the end of his world and his lies were about to be exposed... but not when Vincent continued speaking again. "Actually, Efron and Tricia might have a relationship!"
