Villains feel they're right too, that's why they do what they feel they want regardless of hurting people by the way. Before you judge a villain, try seeing things from their own perspective.

- From the diary

of Katherine Amelia Jones.

Present.

THE COURTYARD NEXT TO the garden is being set up for the wedding ceremony as I take the binds off my window and watch hundreds of workers carry about their assigned duties.

The wedding is getting started at 2pm and I have this egg shell dress to put on.

Something I won't dare to put on.

I'm not even sure I'd attend this goddamn shit of a wedding. I'm still mad at Dad and I hate the slut Doris Mackenzie who's got five dogs she calls children, whom I refused to meet with.

Today's the day I'm gonna see their faces.

I know they're all excited cause they'll get to drink from the well of Dad's wealth.

But Nana Jones is here to keep watchful eyes over me because of how mischievous I am, and she sure as hell's gonna force me attend the shit of a wedding.

"Katherine you bad child." My eyes wells up in their sockets when I hear my Nana's gruff voice at the door of my room. The sound of her walking stick repeatedly hitting against the floor.

I open my door seeing her standing at the doorway. She's all dressed up for the wedding, and is sending a death glare at my way through her thick lense glasses, with eyes ocean blue like Dad's.

"What are you up to this time?"

"Nothing."

"You insolent brat, who designed your Dad's wedding suit with white paint? Who let the dogs in to demolish the giant cake that cost hundreds of thousand dollars?"

I stifle a laugh "I have no idea, Nana Jones."

"Why you bad child? They've ordered for a new cake and your Dad's to put on another suit for this wedding. I know it's you." She pushes her glasses up and pokes her walking stick at my hip.

Scowling, I slap the stupid stick away.

I say nothing and just stare at her, because she's right. It's a payback to Dad for going to pick a fourty something years old woman, couple along with five gold diggers as wife.

"Now get dressed, the wedding's about getting started. Your Dad's already angry at you, you wouldn't want to get him angrier, eh?"

"Ah, yes Nana Jones." I draw the words faking her a smile.

"I wonder what's Steve's crime for deserving such an impudent child," I hear her mutter to herself as she walks away, supporting her aging self with her walking stick.

* * *

I receive curious stares from the entourage sitted at the wedding ceremony as I take long confident strides to my way towards the front seat.

I'm on a black hoodie which hides my long blonde hair, black leather short skirt topped with my gold sandals. Hands tucked inside the pockets of my hoodie as I smack on my gum loudly in my mouth, blowing tiny bun size balloons into the air, with 'Daya's Insomnia' blasting from my earphones.

I make sure I catwalk to rhyme with the sound of song.

I finally sit in front on the first row of seats.

"Isn't that Steve Jones's daughter?"

"She's dressed like she's set for photoshoot on her Dad's own wedding."

"Goodness me, she looks like a rockstar."

I hear whispers around me, and from my side eye, I see a middle age lady clutch her chest in shock and horror.

"She looks like she's being possessed by the devil himself."

And I hear grunts of agreement.

Slowly, I snap my head to her and glower at her. "Have you check yourself at the mirror lately ma'am? You look like an animal that was chased out of the zoo."

People around me gasp and I smile sweetly at them.

Dad who is standing at the front with the priest, waiting for his slut of a bride, looks like he's going to shit on his pants.

I smirk at him and he just shakes his head in disapproval at me.

Finally everywhere becomes silent like a graveyard because Doris is being hold by a balding man who I assume to be her Dad.

The crowd wows and awws as she takes slow graceful strides towards Dad, with Westlife's Beautiful In White playing on the background.

Doris, as much as I hate to admit it, looks stunning. The ivory white ball-like wedding dress suits her perfectly.

They exchange vows, rings and when the priest asks if anyone wants to oppose the marriage, Dad and Doris looks over at me.

Giving him a smug smirk as I twirl my blonde curls on my finger, I blow out my gum that erupts a smacking sound which makes him shudder. Right now, he looks like he's about having hypertension.

I vibrate with laughter, my tiny painted black manicured fingers against my mouth.

Glad I can torment him this way.

Slowly I snap my head over to Nana Jones who's two persons away from me. She sends me an acidic glare that I just shrug off.

"You may now kiss the bride." The priest instructs and I look away as Dad smacks his lips across Doris's lips. It was gross.

I plug my earphones as the crowd claps and cheers.

* * *

The reception seems to be the best part of the wedding, or not. I care less.

After taking pictures, everyone's had a few glasses of liquor and wine coupled with the expensive two course meal.

The bride and groom danced to sappy and slow songs, that I look away because Dad's hands were wrapped around Doris's waist all the time.

I still haven't comprehend the damn fact that my Dad is married. Married to a woman with five kids.

Dad who's busy traveling and sailing around the world, who seem too busy for his own self, found a woman to settle down with.

Finally I get to meet with the Mckenzie siblings. I was practically forced by Nana Jones to seat with them during the wedding reception. After the wedding ceremony, Nana Jones had pushed me into the restroom and scolded me for being a disrespectful child, and dressing like a little slut on my Dad's wedding.

They're all in tuxedos and gowns except the one with dirty blonde hair and green eyes.

He's in all black clothings just like I am.

Black jacket, black crazy jeans and my eyes lowers to the ground and stare at his feet that are clad in black boots.

Guess he's the black sheep of the five.

He notices me staring and glares at me with clenched jaw. I glare right back untill he scoffs and looks away.

My eyes move to the girl opposite me who slowly adjusts the strap of her white dress as she stares right back into her phone. She looks bored, like she would prefer being anywhere than here.

She's beautiful with long light straighten black hair and bears a strinkingly, resemblance to her mother, Doris.

The next is a lanky red hair boy with a wicked scowl on his face, and nose red from anger. If he's so pissed at his slut of a Mum marrying my Dad, why did he put on the a black tuxedo that makes him look like a drained rat? His stupid self should've been in causal clothings like his shithead of a brother.

The salt pepper hair girl at the side of the black hair girl looks tipsy as she drinks straight from the liquor bottle. The bottle is snatched away from her by the black haired girl who seem to be older.

"That's enough Sarah, for fucks sake this is mum's wedding and not some club." She scolds her sister. She has a British accent.

"Give it right back, what's your business Miranda." The girl whose name is Sarah burps trying to get the bottle from her sister. She too has a British accent.

"You're making a big fool of yourself." The curly black haired boy at Sarah's side hisses into her ear then looks over at me. He's more bulkier than the rest of the boys. "See, she's watching." He gestures his head over at me and Sarah stares at me through bloodshot eyes.

"Huh? I don't care. Fuck her, fuck all ya, fuck mum, fuck Steve Jones, fuck the priest and fuck everyone here." She grabs unto the glass of water in front of her, assuming it was wine and dawn the whole content in the glass. And when her taste buds kicks in  it's water she had drank, she squeezes her face in frustrated irritation, throws the glass away that it crashes on the floor.

"Fuck this-" A hand is clamp over her mouth to interrupt her from going further.

It's the dirty blonde hair, green eyes, shit face boy.

"Can I get everyone's attention please?" Dad says through the microphone standing over at the stage.

The music, chattering and dancing dies down Immediately.

"When I first met Doris in Britain she was this defiant woman. Bold, strong, beautiful and stood up to me, her boss, when I insulted the shit out of her."

Everyone laughs except me and the McKenzie siblings. The scowl on the red heads face deepens making him look more like a rat.

So Dad met Doris in Britain, no wonder all the Mckenzie kids have got British accent.

They came all the way from Britain.

Dad goes rambling on and on untill he finally says.

"And I want to thank my beautiful daughter, Katherine, who's been my pride and joy all these years and is a great supporter of this marriage. I love you and I hope you get along with your siblings." He chuckles, lifts his glass up and throws a genuine smile at my way after lying in front of everyone.

The crowd cheers and claps while I glare at each of the Mackenzie siblings one by one with my butt stuck to my seat.

I gulp the half full glass of wine in front of me and slam the glass on the table with a loud thud that it cracks.

Standing up, I push my chair backwards and stretch my arms. In the process of stretching I let out a loud mind blowing fart that it makes all the McKenzie siblings snap their heads up at me as they hear the sound of it. Even tipsy Sarah.

It has the malodor of sour milk and egg and I smirk at the red head, rat face boy, who's nose is wrinkled and face currently looks like a sorry ass sack of shit.

"Bitch! They all exclaim in unison, glowering daggers at me while I give them the finger, whistle, laugh and walk away from the whole scene.

I feel bad for her, he married someone without much of a heads up to her or giving her even a chance to get to know her and her children prior to dropping the marriage bomb. yeah she's a twit, but if her dad's current behavior of the situation is any indication of how her whole life has been.....
