One week had passed since I took the job at Miller Corporations as my Step-father’s personal assistant. I can’t lie there wasn’t any challenges, but Justin had been very patient with me, walked me through the ropes without minding the inconvenience.
I walked into Justin’s office with a steaming cup of coffee in hand. “Hey… I know it is almost noon but I thought you could use another coffee since you have got a lot on your schedule today.”
He looked up and smiled. “Wow, and I didn’t even have to ask. I know it has only been a week since you resumed, but believe me, you are the best Assistant I ever had.”
I raised an eyebrow, giving him a half-smile. “Oh, I know you’re just pulling my leg,” I said, my voice light but teasing. “But thank you anyway. It’s good to know I’m already your favorite.” I said as I placed the cup gently on the table.
He chuckled as he picked it up. “Believe me, you are the best.” He said right before turning back to the monitor screen.
I leaned back slightly, crossing my arms. “Well, if you say so.”
He laughed again, and I couldn't help but admire the sound of his voice. I looked at his arms; his sleeves were rolled up to his elbows, exposing the tattoos on his wrist.
The closest to his wrist was a date etched in elegant roman numerals, I had always been tempted to ask him what that date stood for, it must mean some important day for him. He also had a cute compass inked on his upper wrist.
“The meeting is in thirty minutes, you might want to comb your hair and fix your tie.” I said softly, my eyes locked on his tousled hair, he had probably messed it up from running his hand through it.
“Oh, please help me out,” he asked as he took his eyes off the screen for a second.
I nodded, my heart racing as I approached closer. If only he knew how much effect he had on me by just sitting there and getting work done.
I stood behind him and combed his hair backwards; he had very soft oily hair. I silently prayed he didn’t hear my heartbeat as I fixed his tie; the scent of his cologne did crazy things to my body, my hands were literally trembling.
“Okay, let me take care of that one.” He chuckled as he noticed me struggling with the tie.
I laughed shyly and stepped back, rubbing the back of my neck with my head down in embarrassment. “Yeah, I should probably pick up the files we need for the meeting, I will be in the car.”
Thirty minutes later…
I paced around the restroom with tears rolling down my face, why did this have to happen?
My phone rang for the sixth time, it was Justin calling. I couldn’t answer, what do I tell him? I had the files for the meeting but I couldn’t leave this restroom.
When it rang again, I summoned the courage to pick up. “Hello...” I tried to keep my voice stable.
“Olivia? Where are you? The meeting has begun already, did you miss the road?” there was worry and concern in his voice.
My voice failed me as I broke down in tears at the sound of his voice. “I am so sorry, Justin. I don’t know how this happened, there were no signs, it just came out of nowhere, I am so sorry.” I cried.
“Olivia? Are you alright? What happened? Where are you?” he asked immediately, his tone changing.
“I… I am… I am in the restroom,” I stuttered. “I sincerely don’t know how this happened, it came very early and the stain is much, I am so embarrassed…” I said amidst tears.
“Olivia calm down, what came? Take a deep breath and tell me what happened,” he asked.
I swallowed hard, holding back my tears. “It is my period, my skirt is badly stained and I don’t have any spares with me, I am a mess right now, I don’t know why… I… I…” the rest of the words were stuck in my throat as I began crying again.
There was silent on his end and then I heard the sound of a chair moving over the phone. “Justin?” I called nervously.
“Stay where you are, Olivia. I am leaving the meeting now and I will be with you shortly, just tell me everything you need and I will bring it to you.” he announced.
I froze, both scared and surprised. He was coming here? What about the meeting, was he going to abandon them?
“Wait, no you don’t have to…”
“Olivia, are you going to tell me what you need or should I call your mom and ask her?” his voice cut through my stammer.
“No! Please don’t call my mom!” I screamed immediately.
Knowing her too well, she would just yell at me, scold me for being careless, call me useless and blame me for everything.
“Okay, I need a tampon…”
Less than twenty minutes after listing the stuff I needed, there was a knock on the restroom door. My heart raced, unsure if it was him.
“Olivia, are you there?” I heard Justin’s voice call out to me.
I took a deep breath before slightly opening the door and poking my head out.
“Hey, are you alright?” He asked softly.
I nodded, looking down in embarrassment. I couldn’t bring myself to face him.
“I got everything you asked for, here.” He said, handing me a nylon bag.
“Thank you,” I muttered. “Just give me a moment.”
“Sure.” He said calmly and turned away.
I closed the door and walked to the restroom counter, I checked the bag and it had everything just the way I requested, a new pair of clothes, tampons and tissue, he even topped in a mini sanitizer and handkerchief.
I couldn’t help but get all emotional and teary, probably my period messing up my mood.
I quickly cleaned up and changed into the fresh clothes, then packed the stained ones carefully. I cleaned the bathroom floor where I had accidentally left a few drops of blood.
Today was the worst day of my life. I have had my periods since I was fourteen and there had never been a day like this. What would I have done without Justin??
After I was done, I walked out still feeling embarrassed and he once again asked if I was alright or needed something else. When we got into the elevator, I noticed he didn’t have his suit on, he had probably left it in the car and I felt bad for having to make him do this.
“I am sorry,” I said as we got into the car.
He turned to me in the passenger seat. “You don’t have to be sorry about anything, Ollie. Shit happens.” He replied softly.
I could feel my heart thumping in my chest. How could a man be so perfect?
Justin dropped me off at home before leaving for his penthouse where he spent most of his time. I stood outside as I watched him drive away in the Bentley.
If only he didn’t meet my mother first, she didn’t deserve a Justin Miller!
Maybe if mother had found me a man like Justin, she wouldn’t have any difficulty convincing me to get married.
Justin's PovIt had been two weeks. Mary was not back. Although we spoke every day, this house was still too empty to live in. I often stayed late at work to pass the time. Olivia had not been reachable, but Rico had. The last time I checked up on them, he had sent a picture of their date. Olivia was happy with this man. When did that change and why? What was going to happen to me? Was she starving me in return now? This wasn't our deal, not how we planned it. I should visit her. She was indecisive and Rico had probably gotten into her head somehow. I have to do the same.I took a bath, dressed up, and took my car keys. My phone rang, it was the new personal assistant that I hired. "Tell me," I said when I picked up the call."Good Morning sir, I noticed some transactions made by your wife recently, and I wanted to confirm with you if you approved them.""Yes, she asked me. It's from our joint account. You don't have to worry.""Yes, I understand, but the joint account is where you
Olivia's PovAt midnight or so, I couldn't tell, but it was very dark, my phone rang. With my drunk self, I picked up the call and placed it to my ear. "Hello," I said lazily."Olivia" the voice startled me, such that I removed the phone from my ears and checked the caller. It was an unknown number, but the voice certainly was familiar."Justin?" I called."Come outside your house" I heard. "What?" I sat upon the bed, drunkenness blurring off my face. "You're outside my house?" I asked again."Yes," he simply responded and ended the call. I jumped out of bed. How is that possible? How did he get in? Why is he here? He shouldn't be here.I walked gently out of my room so I wouldn't make a sound and then to the living room, I gently opened the door. When I got outside, I looked around and it was true, Justin's car was parked just in the middle of Rico's and my car.My phone rang again and I picked it up. "Meet me at your garage," he said and ended the call.My garage? It was just an em
Olivia's PovA fresh start? How does that feel like? How does that sound? How do I erase my past? How do I get my mother's men to apologize for what they did to me?What exactly is a fresh start? I didn't know, but I knew that giving Rico a chance was something that might be worth it. At least for the past week, it had. I couldn't believe that I had blocked Justin's number, even when I tried to unblock it about thirty times while rethinking my decision, we hadn't spoken in a week and it was from my angle."Yes, deeper!" I moanedSex with Rico was unique and I was damned to have taken this man for granted all these years. "Keep it up, don't stop!" I screamed, holding his thighs. "Oh, fuck, what are you doing to me" I whispered."Yes. Yes. Fucking hell!" My fingers dug into his back as I reached orgasm. He sank into me and shared words of love.It wasn't just sex. Rico was a full round of green standard."I think you should wear this," he said one day, picking a dress for me. Since I h
Olivia's PovI swerved to the side and my eyes slowly opened. I was taken aback by who was before me. "Rico" I called. Was I thinking about him too much?"Olivia," he responded, holding my arm tightly and touching my forehead. I looked around, I was still in Justin's place. I was in his living room, lying on the couch.Justin also stood by the side of Rico. "Are you okay?" He asked me. "You fainted"I turned to Rico. "How did you get here?" I asked. Whenever I needed help, Justin was always by my side. It was strange to see someone new, holding onto me like I was truly important."I didn't think it was nice staying home alone and not consoling Justin too, so I came here to either join you or to pick you up. When I knocked and there was no response, I came in to see you lying on the floor" Rico explained. He was here to pick me up? He didn't even tell me! What if...what if...he had come at the wrong time."I'm glad you're safe. We should visit the hospital" Rico said again."No." I pro
Olivia's PovFucking in the bathroom, whatever plans Justin had, I was in for it. He had always been the only man I wished to explore with. He held my butt and brought me closer to him. "You feel my hardness?" He asked."Yes" I smiled"I've been carrying this all through the flight before you came. It means, I wouldn't show you mercy for keeping me waiting"I chuckled. "Be easy on me, Justin," I said. He studied me for a moment. "You're a lot calmer now," he said. "What happened?""Calmer?" I laughed. "Maybe my hormones.""Well tell your hormones I need her rough" he pulled his shirt off."Fuck" I muttered. "I can never stop being attracted to this body," I mumbled. "How do you keep so fit for your age?" I bit my lips and grazed my hand all over his body. "It is too perfect"He kissed my neck and bit it softly. "Justin" I moaned and he kissed my lips too, while his hands roamed all over my dress as he tried to pull it off from the shoulders. I allowed him, taking my hand off the slee
Olivia's PovWrapped around his blanket in his room, my lips were jittering. He came again with his warm towel and placed it on my body. I felt at ease, but not for long. After yesterday's undeniably good sex, I woke at midnight and found my menstrual period. That must be the only reason why I was so horny and attracted to Rico...right? This time, the period came with a lot of pain.Rico didn't sleep all night, he helped me warm my belly, wrapped me in a blanket, comforted me, kissed me, and cuddled me. All the methods he could use to soothe me, he did. I had slept for a brief moment but woke up in pain again. It was morning and he said he was going to a pharmacy. When he left, I received a call. It was Justin. "I am back to the country, Ollie" his deep voice resounded in my ears."Cool" I simply said, turning on my side of the bed."Can we meet today?"Fucking hell! Of all the days that I wanted to meet him?"No, we cannot," I said, and then groaned in pain. "Are you okay? Did Rico
