[Juliette’s POV]

Ralph put his arms around me, which surprised me greatly because this was unlike him–comforting was the last thing he would do.

“We’ll figure something out, babe.” He rubbed my back in a soothing way and added, “Take your mind off it for a while, and something will come along.”

I felt more guilty than before. This is a man I can trust. Yet, something inside me still resists it.

I pulled back and looked at his face. “You’re right. Let’s have a wonderful dinner. The three of us.”

My heart halted once more.

I blinked and searched the ground. “I mean, the two of us with Tommy.”

There was no reply.

So I looked up and he was giving me a strange look, as though I had said something foreign. But then he dismissed it quickly and caressed the side of my head.

“Tommy said to come quickly. So we better get going. Or he’ll make a big fuss, and it’s going to be a long journey.”

We chuckled knowingly into each other’s face.

  • Stolen by the Mafia King   Chapter 252: "It Must Be Done, Kitten."

[Ralph’s POV]A month ago…. “We need to go against each other,” I growled. She was comparing the size of our palms against the warm lit ceiling of the master bedroom of my mansion when she heard me.She looked up with a sharp disapproval. “You want us to be enemies. To start killing each other.” She was about to cry, and I mentally punched myself. My arms wanted to gather her in for a hug, but then I wouldn’t be able to stop myself and make love to her again. This needs to be discussed. It can't wait. “It must be done, kitten. It’s the only way to get you back in there. Back in the game. Only then can we get solid evidence to turn the tables around.” She was livid. She sat up to face me, her trembling lips imploring, pleading with me to stop. “There are other ways,” she insisted through gritted teeth. I grabbed her shoulders and squeezed them. “Your father is the most distrusting person to walk the face of earth. You think he’s going to let you waltz back into Lux Corp just li

[Juliette’s POV]The appointment with the regulators is today, at 1 p.m..Papa is in an exceptional mood. I would be if I were him. With everything in place, the regulators are sure to give the green light, and nothing is going to stop the casino from opening. Lux Corp will expand exponentially from then on. Papa’s name will be known worldwide: the third richest man on Earth. “How’s the presentation?” He asks as the limousine shoots smoothly through the valley, towards the city. I smile assuringly. “It’s all good, Papa. But are you sure you want me to do it?” His smile flattens to a meaningful line. “No confidence? That’s not like you.”I stare at my skirt, feeling sheepish. “I am thankful for the opportunity, Papa. But I thought you’re the face of the casino. I mean, it’s your baby. I feel like I’ll be stealing your thunder.” He laughs heartily, glad that the old Juliette is back. “I expect you to be wiser, Juliette.” I frown in puzzlement until realisation jolts me to meet his

  • Stolen by the Mafia King   Chapter 250: "It's Time for the Red Pill"

[Juliette’s POV]He was sliding into me, big and stiff and commanding. “Kitten, do you feel me?” His deep voice was raspy with a need as thick as mine. The unhurried pace made everything more sensual, the pleasure magnified to almost five times, and I could only express it in a tiny squeeze of “Yes!”. “All of me?” Carefully, he spread and pressed down on my thighs to widen me further so I could take in more of him. A stronger current seized me, bursting a higher, louder “Yes!” from my lips. My skin is vibrating with a tingling sensation, my muscles clenched to hold in that bliss, wanting to store it inside me forever—. Slam! New currents of goodness poured in and exploded from my mouth in his name. I didn’t know I could make sounds like that. I sounded like a fucking gorilla. “Not letting me go, huh?” There was pride in his voice, as his strength ebbed for my anticipation to flow in again. He held my face in place and I had to stare into those golden irises of hunger, my body

[Harold's POV]But the old miser slots in right before the first punch. “Harold, you know I detest violence.” Clifford exhales an added disapproval. “And this is my building, not yours.” “Violence? His words are violence! All lies!” A furious finger fires at Ralph Virtus. “All Virtuses are good at that.” He glances at his daughter, who’s reliving her stupidity-led betrayal, then back at that glowering slime. “LYING THROUGH THEIR TEETH.” Ralph Virtus jabbed indignantly at the air, right between Harold’s incense eyes. “You’re the lying sack shit! Thanks to your lies, I lost my wife once—!” His daughter looks like she wishes she hadn’t known the enemy, and a snort of confidence pushes through his nostrils. “Would the police not see through my lies if I was lying?” He pleads with Clifford with as much sincerity in him. “He forced my daughter into a marriage she didn’t want. If I wasn’t in a coma, I would’ve stopped it.”Ralph lunges right at him. “YOU GAVE ME HER HAND IN MARRIAGE, YOU

[Harold’s POV]Questions are good. You don’t know, you ask. It’s that simple. Pretend to know, and you’re the dumbest kid in the room. That’s what Harold Lux believed in, and that’s what he taught Juliette. There’s always something good in a question; it points out the clever from the stupid, the real from the fake, an enemy from an ally. And Juliette is one true clever ally. Handing her mobile phone over, she asks, “What do we do, Papa?” Harold reads the screen, and it’s a text from Ralph Virtus: We need to talk. He purses his lips in disapproval, then exhales, “What does he want to talk about?” and hurls the device back at his daughter, who looks ready to be reprimanded or punished. “Our plan to take Papa down,” answers a tone that’s hooked to a lie detector. The business king laughs at the stupid, young arrogance. “And how did you both plan to do that?” She swallows her shame of guilt, touches her heart-shaped necklace, and replies, “we’ll make you take the investors that

  • Stolen by the Mafia King   Chapter 247: She's Dead to Us

[Robert’s POV]He’s never seen the Don in such rage. Mr Smith had described it to him once, and Robert had a strong sense that he would finally be able to see it. He was mentally killing someone. With his bare hands. That sly fox Lux? When Madame was verbally slapping the Don for God knows what, that so-called Business King was grinning from ear to ear. That smug of satisfaction on his face, even Robert wanted to throw a punch at him.But as Madame turned from him, the Don reached out his hand wanting to grab her, to get her back. That full display of desperation showed Robert that Madame mattered the most to the head of the Virtus clan than his own pride. Even more than his family honour. Everything was out the window when he went for his most prized possession. If that son of a bitch lawyer hadn’t placed himself between them, the Don would have thrown his arms around his wife and dragged her into the limousine. Robert’s eyes widened with new knowledge: the Don was angry at himsel
