Strange Addiction (English)

They say, when you FINALLY reach your dream don't let it break, lose or snatch by other, especially if you have things you gave up to make it. But what if the people around you and even the destiny itself make way for you to gradually lose it?

“Miss Danica, please look at the camera! Is it true that you use drugs and you use your body for you to have a bigger and more project?” A female reporter quickly asked to her, a reason for the others to immediately approach and ask questions one after the other.

“Miss Danica, what can you say about the spreading pictures of you with the director of the new movie where you are the lead lady? Is it true that you have a secret relationship?”

“Miss Danica, is it true that you became the lead lady in the movie because the director hired you? Is that why there was no audition for the position of lead lady because you have talked about it for a long time?”

“Miss Danica, what can you say in the comments on the internet about you? Aren't you ashamed to leave your house after the issue?”

Each reporter was pushing each other and trying their best to make a better shot to her, each of them videotaped and took pictures that almost hurt the woman's eyes with a series of camera flashes.

"Miss Danica…"

“Danica… Please look at the camera!”

Reporters asked so many questions to the actress who had just gotten out in her van to enter her agency building, they could hardly pass her with manager to the sea of people who wanted to interview her.

"We can't let them do nothing about it, after all you gave a lot of money to this company so we have the right to complain and ask for help to clear your name." He snorted.

Fortunately, as they were close to the entrance of the agency's company, the guards finally helped stop the reporters. But even so the maiden still did not escape the haters who did not hesitate to pull her by the arm and stone her with ripe tomatoes.

“You don't count as an artist! You have to left the entertainment industry, you are destroying the image of other artists! Many are more deserving of the achievements you have now, retire! You disgusting woman, retire now!”

Shout from the other haters on the side, a few people from her fans are trying stop them back but that’s not enough to stop the tomatoes and eggs into where the maiden is.

“Don't worry too much, this wound is far from my intestine, it can’t make me die. It's better that we go to Mr. Reyes office.” It's unfortunate that the girl said, she knows how angry her manager is now because of what is happened but she can’t let him to do something as revenge.

He is the only one who believes that the news is not true, they do not know how such an issue was formed because she does not often go out and socialize with other artists. She is almost unable to visit the family with the very busy schedule she has this year.

They quickly caught the attention of the man who was squeezing his forehead, he had never slept all night and the black under his eyes say it all.

“What are you doing here?! Didn't you receive my message not to leave or even step out your foot outside the house?!” He said angrily and stood up, he quickly looked at the woman's arm where Isaac's handkerchief was tied. “Look! Are you really going to hurt yourself?”

This is not what Danica expected to be the reaction of the CEO of her entertainment company, she didn’t think it was making way to clean up the name she had.

“We just want to know what really happened! We don't know where the issue started, we didn't go anywhere that would cause a scandal like this.” Danica felt how her manager wanted to know the whole thing about the issue.

"That's another problem for me, here." Mr. Reyes reached his iPad and give it to them, it contains the video relatively that dark room. “There is the director of the new movie where you will be the leading lady, there is also the other cast of the movie in the video. They all say the same thing, the drugs seen in the video on the table are yours.” He explained.

“That bullshit! I there until the drink is over before the shooting to start.” Isaac raised his voice, he can’t help to clicked his tongue out of frustration.

"But you are not seen in the video, Isaac, and if you are even seen there no one will believe to everything you say because you are Danica's manager."

“How about the CCTV outside that VIP room? And it’s in this video I haven’t seen it happen! He did not hug the director even once.” His manager stopped for a moment and slapped the table, “these people set up everything! I went out for a while to do CR but when I came back Danica was unconscious but before I left her, she was still in her sane state!”

"But why?" Danica can’t help but to stare at them, she doesn’t think the time will come when the career she worked so hard for several years to reach will be ruined.

“We don’t know either, you know how people in this industry when they set their eyes on someone who will be a hindrance to their success and to think of it right now, it won’t be vague that will be the reason for them to destroy you.” The man's answer.

“But why is the director even pointing me? If only a simple person had a plan for everything, they would not be able to talk and allow everyone to blame and destroy me.” The woman could no longer refrain herself to speak about the issue involved her.

It hurts for her that her name will be ruined just because of an issue that she didn't even really do and what she can't accept is that the people around her just agreed with it without heard her side.

She’s an actress who makes a living for her family and continued to be the way for her mother to be treated her illness, if she lose the popularity she has now she doesn't know where her whole family will go, maybe pick them up in the trash sooner or later.

"Rich or ordinary person can do it, they can both do it especially if that person has a sponsor who can afford to give what the artist wants." The CEO sighed and looked at the woman in front of him seriously, "speaking of sponsor, I can ask for someone help for you, they can be a sponsor."

“Are you insane, Shun?! You want to give her a sponsor even if her issue is start from her, using her body to become famous?!” Isaac glared at him.

“That's the only way left to save her career, Isaac! You know that I am still the acting CEO here and I cannot make a decision lightly without my father’s approval.”

Sponsor?

Once the woman heard the talk about the sponsor from her co-artist but she wasn't that aware of what it was and why Isaac reacted like that when Shun mentioned it.

"Is that really the only way left for me to save the career I have?" Hesitantly she asked, if there was still a way for her to save the position and pull her name now out of this mess, for her family why would she not do it?

"Yes, and I know he's willing to help a dedicated and talented artist like you." Shun smile at her with assurance.

“No! Danica, please maybe there is another way but don’t do it.” Isaac’s tone pleaded with her but she doesn't have to be selected now. As the saying goes, beggars have no choice to be choosy.

"No, I will do it." She said seriously and smiled, "I can get through this, just trust me."

"Great, then Isaac can you lend her to me for this day?" Shun asked.

“What do you mean? Don't say that right now you will introduce her to the sponsor you are talking about.” The angry expression on his face still lingered as it stared sharply at Shun.

"Why not? Until then, we have to make a way while her name is not so tarnished.” He said it seriously, so even though Isaac didn't want to, he did nothing but leave the office.

"Isaac!" The woman called to him repeatedly but he didn't even look back, the woman understood him manager. They were both newcomers to the industry eight years ago and they faced trials together, just like her it also worked hard to stay in the entertainment industry.

"Maybe Isaac just needs time to think, let's go?" Shun said while look at Danica.

"Let's go." She answered and followed the young man, even though she did not know what awaited her.
