Chapter 5: White Limousine

"Eliz." I turned to face her.

The corners of her mouth lifted in a smile. "You look alluring in that white dress Crystal."

I turned my gaze back to the mirror and observe myself wearing it.

It's a semi-embroidered white strapless dress that accentuated my thin waist. It also hugged my hips, highlighting and emphasizing its curve. The skirt of this dress flared out slightly, and a V-slit on the side showed a less embroidered underlayer. My cleavage was showing so I quickly pulled it up to hide it better, but it was still visible so I just let it be.

It's stunning.

I raised my gaze to my hair. I used my hands to move my hair forward and adjusted its volume a bit by running my fingers into my hair and lift it slightly.

Even though it hasn't been fixed yet, my glossy blonde, long, and curly hair complement the dress.

Eliz came a little closer to the mirror to get a better look at it. "You look so pretty," she said while her mouth gradually hangs open.

The two of us fell silent, we had never talked so close to each other ever since we met.

We looked away in panic when the door opened.

"Hurry and dress up, I'm coming with you." Trina came out.

Eliz looks confused at what's happening but I have no time to explain right now.

I was about to run to the shower when my phone suddenly chirped.

I approached it from the bed where I had thrown it earlier.

I turned it on to see who texted me.

Unknown number:

[You can't bring anyone to the party.]

It was from an unknown number but based on the words used, I already know who it is.

I look around the room to see if he was there. I even checked every corner of it but he wasn't, so I returned to my phone and typed my reply.

[How did you know I was about to bring someone?]

I didn't wait for the reply when I sent it.

"He told me not to bring anyone." I handed Trina my phone to show her the text message before I went straight to the shower room to start fixing myself.

They just followed me with their confused eyes and didn't say anything.

***

As I descended the stairs out of the hotel, I saw a beautiful and obviously expensive white limousine. It was so white and glowing, this car seems like it's cleaner than my whole existence.

On the side of it is a man who is standing very straight and seemed to be waiting to pick up someone.

Maybe it's me?

There is no other vehicle here to pick me up, so maybe that's what the man I talked to earlier was referring to?

I walked towards them slowly because this dress was too short than I expected, and I felt like it would fall off even if it wasn't. I'm also not comfortable with the appearance of my cleavage from this strapless dress.

I might be overlooked because of it later, so I better be careful.

The man standing on the side opened the door for me and ushered me inside.

"Thank you."

My eyes widened in amusement and both corners of my lips can't help but to raised really high when I got inside. I am so thrilled because of the beauty of this car. This white limo is already gorgeous outside, I didn't expect it to be this beautiful inside. The interior is gold-colored as well as the utensils and kinds of stuff used. The fragrance of it is as if its scent enters me and mixes with my soul.

"Woah..."

I can't help but be amazed, it's so big inside. I look around and I see that there are lots of wine and beer on the side. In front of me was also a nice golden table with a lot of food on it.

As I marveled at the sheer beauty of this limo, I noticed out of the corner of my eye that the driver is staring at me from the rear mirror, so I gave him a look.

His eyebrows furrowed as our eyes met.

"Uh... Are you the bride?"

I suddenly froze at his question.

I can't think of anything to say, the guy I married told me not to talk to anyone. If I will tell him that I am not the bride, then I might ruin the plan that he has been telling me over and over again last night.

"I-I guess?" I gave him an awkward smile and fixed my posture to look believable.

Suddenly, the car opened and I saw a woman wearing a wedding gown.

My jaws dropped because of what sinking into me right now.

"Who are you?" she asked me.

I just want to be swallowed up by the earth with the extreme shame I am getting now.

I want to run and hide.

"I- I'm sorry!" I pushed her slightly so I could pass, I accelerated my walk as if I am running.

I could no longer see the road, my steps were really fast while looking at the ground. I am also supporting my clothes because it feels like they are about to fall off and I am scared that my boobs will show up and reveal themselves There are a lot of people here, if that happens then I don't know what to do anymore. I am so ashamed.

"Aww!"

My hand rested on my forehead when I bumped into something really hard.

Did I just bump into a wall?

Great. Way to go Crystal.

I lifted my gaze to see what hard object I had collided with. When I looked up, I saw a very handsome man.

The... F.

Did I just run into his chest? I thought it was a wall since it was really hard. And literally, my head is still hurting.

I scanned his whole face.

Obviously perfect; Deep and beautiful eyes? Check! Dark and long eyelashes? Check! Thick eyebrows? Check! Sharp nose? Check! Reddened lips? Check! The tightening jaw? Absolutely check!

He is darker but it's nice to see his fair skin, it also matches his chocolate-colored hair.

With him being so handsome I gradually bit my lips.

Damn this guy is so fine.

Does he already have a girlfriend?

"Are you okay miss?"

My soul just got back to me when he spoke, even his voice was perfect.

"I-I'm totally fine."  I tried to smile at him, I hope he didn't see the embarrassing things that happened.

I don't want to reduce my score, maybe he's the one.

I smiled really wide because of what I am thinking.

"Did you just get out of that white limo?"

My knees softened at what I heard and the smile on my face slowly fades.

"You saw that?"

He hesitated to nod.

I covered my face with both of my hands.

Dang it Crystal.

The embarrassment I got was enough for today, I think I should go home now.

"Hey, that's okay, I won't tell anyone."

He took my hands and slowly removed them from covering my face.

The softness of his voice, even if he just spoke seemed reassuring. He even acted like he was zipping his mouth closed.

"Come, I'm supposed to pick you up but I was surprised when you suddenly went straight to that limo."

Oh god, that's more embarrassing. I know his voice sounds really sweet but I hope he would stop talking. My embarrassment only increases when I hear everything.

I saw the black shiny car parked on the side of this hotel.

"That's our car, not that." He pointed to the black car before pointing to the white limousine.

I regretted looking back at the car I had ridden before.

I saw the woman earlier taking a picture in front of that car, she's getting married. The white limousine was for the bride, it never crossed my mind that it could happen.

I was so thrilled in that car, you know, it's the same as in the shows where the girl suddenly became rich. I might have watched too many movies. It's so embarrassing, worse is that the man of my dreams saw it all so clear.

"Come on, let's get going."

I just looked down as I followed him.

He let me in the front of the car before he turned around to hop in.

"So... Crystal Harrison, right?"

I just nodded, I'm still ashamed of everything.

I thought this guy would be perfect for me, curse that white limousine, my future love life is ruined.

"I still can't imagine how he managed to convince a girl like you." He suddenly said so I turned to him.

"What do you mean?"

"He never speaks to anyone except it's Maddison or someone he's close with." He said as his eyes fixed on the road.

"I don't get it, he spoke a lot." He literally spoke a lot, especially when he's ordering me.

"Hmm... maybe he's treating it as pure business, nothing personal." He looked at me a little at the same time lifting his shoulders.

"W-What... kind of b-business?"

He just let out a small laugh and did not speak again.

I still doubt what kind of business they are doing. What are we going to do anyway at that wedding?

Don't tell me he plans to distribute drugs in there?

Is that why he told me not to bring any friends and to not be late because he has a lot to tell me?

"What are you thinking?"

I noticed that we had reached a large mansion, with many beautiful and shiny cars parked outside.

"We're not going to sell illegal drugs here, right?" I anxiously asked him.

He just grinned before climbing out of the car.

I became more nervous because he didn't even answer me.

He was about to open the door so I could get out but fortunately, I stopped him immediately.

I'm not going out of here no matter what happens. I don't want to sell illegal drugs. No... Never!

"What's the matter!?" He asked from outside while trying to open the car.

"No... no..." I am shaking my head as hard as I can.

I noticed that the man I married last night had approached us.

"She's inside, but she doesn't want to come out."

"Why? What happened?"

"I don't know, she was fine until we-"

"Step aside, I'll handle her." His voice was so deep, it was as if I wanted to just go out because of fear.

"Get out of there." He added, the hairs all over my body stood up at once. "If you didn't come out in 5 seconds, you won't have the money we agreed."

"W- What!? No!" I jumped out because of what I heard, that's not possible. I've done a lot, I can't go home without anything.

"Good." He was about to leave so I stopped him immediately.

"No no no no wait-" I touched the hem of his elegant suit. "A-Are we really going to sell d-drugs?"

"Why do you always mention drugs?" He stared at me intently with his furrowed eyebrows.

"Cause! It's what I've seen in movies. Plus he said you are doing some business here." I pointed to the handsome guy while still holding on to him.

"Don't mind whatever he says. Now come along." He turned his back on me and started walking again.

The handsome man gave me a smile that made me flustered. Okay, that's it, future husband, just be there and wait for me. I'll just work first, though I'm still not sure what job this is.

As I was staring at him, his face suddenly approached me so I was a little surprised, he whispered words to me as if something strange had happened inside me because my heart seemed to be going crazy.

"Just follow everything he says, and you'll be fine."
