RICARDO

"I should’ve fucking used it!" I roared, slamming my fist into the wall so hard the plaster cracked beneath my knuckles. "I should’ve stopped the goddamn time!"

The rage in my chest was a wildfire, my breathing came in sharp bursts, my vision red with fury and self-loathing.

I could still see it… Ryan collapsing into my arms, the life draining from his eyes, his blood warm and sticky on my hands.

I had the power to change that. I could’ve changed it.

I should’ve.

I paced the length of the room like a madman, fists clenched, every nerve in my body shaking with guilt.

Why didn’t I use it? Why the fuck didn’t I just use it?

Because every time I did, a part of me broke. My health spiraled. The nosebleeds, the migraines, the tremors… they got worse with each use. And the last time… the last time almost killed me.

But so what?

I clenched my jaw and slammed my fist against the wall again, harder this time. A small streak of blood bloomed on my skin, but I didn’t care. The pain was t

RICARDOThey were all gathered by the time I stepped out.Rafael stood to my right, his arms crossed, Elena stood beside him. Enzo was beside the armored truck, checking his weapon with methodical precision. A few other men stood in silence And then… there was Ryan.He stood on the far end of the group, I didn’t look at him. I kept my gaze forward, ignoring the weight of his eyes on me. Ignoring the fact that my chest had tightened the second I saw him.I cleared my throat and stepped forward.“This mission,” I said, my voice loud enough to carry across the group, “is not about business. Not about money. This isn’t a job.”I scanned their faces one by one. Elena. Rafael. Enzo. Everyone… except him.“This is about family. Blood. Justice. Retribution.”They were all still.“My father was murdered,” I continued. A few men glanced at each other. Enzo didn’t move. Rafael’s jaw ticked again.“Matteo planned the whole thing. Lucas helped carry it out. And now, they’re both hidden in the sout

RICARDOA FEW MINUTES AGORafael stepped into my office, and the door clicked shut behind him.“What happened?” I asked and folded my arms. “You said you’d be gone for three days. It’s been a week. I had to send men after you.”He didn’t answer that.Instead, he leaned forward, both palms pressed against my desk. “What happened to Father? How did they get to him?”I narrowed my eyes. He was dodging deliberately. I hated that. But I couldn’t push it right now.Not with the heat already pressing down on us.I exhaled through my nose, stepping away from the table. “I think someone was watching him. Tracking. I don’t know how long, but… they waited for the right moment.”“And then?” Rafael asked, his voice dangerously low.“They got him.” My fists clenched at my sides. “Slipped past security. No noise. No alarm. Nothing. He was already dead by the time we found him.”I slammed my fist on the desk so hard the wood cracked under the weight of my anger.“I can’t believe he’s gone,” I breathe

RYANWe drove into the compound and Rafael took a deep breath beside me. “This is it,” he muttered.I looked through the tinted windows as the familiar gates swung shut behind us, swallowing us back into the world I’d tried so hard to escape. My chest rose and fell, tight with emotions I didn’t want to name. I didn’t know why… but it was like I missed this place. The chaos. The weight of power and secrets pressing down from every corner.I had so much to do now.So much to fix.I couldn’t wait to get it done, to finish what I’d started. And be over with this life.…Even though, deep down, I wasn’t sure I wanted to be over with it.That scared me more than I wanted to admit.“Alright, baby,” Rafael said, snapping me back with his deep, low voice. He gave my hand a small squeeze. “Let’s go out now.”We stepped out together, side by side. The air felt heavier here, like it remembered us.The maids rushed out almost instantly, heads bowed respectfully, reaching for our bags. They didn’t sa

RYAN“You’re going back?!” Rafael’s voice rose. “After everything? After what he did to you?”My chest clenched. He was standing in front of me now, eyes wide, voice cracking with frustration. “Wasn’t I enough for you?” he asked, the words punching out of him like they physically hurt. “I was trying… hell, I am trying to give you everything. Everything you want. A life. Peace. Me.”I opened my mouth, but he didn’t stop.“But still,” he went on, bitter, disbelieving, “you’d rather go back to him? To the same man who almost killed you? Who strapped you to a goddamn chair and electrocuted you like you were nothing?”“Rafa,” I whispered, my throat tightening. He was shaking now. Not from fear. From heartbreak.I hated seeing him like that. But… I didn’t have a choice.Every part of me wanted to pull him close and tell him I’d stay. That he was enough. That he was everything. But I couldn’t.I couldn’t.As he stood there, trembling with heartbreak, my mind was already spiraling. I didn’t h

RAFAEL I slowly raised my hands. “Okay, okay, don’t do anything stupid,” I said cautiously. And then…“Unless stupid means loving me too much,” Ryan’s voice rang out with mischief.I turned my head sharply to the side, and sure enough… there he was. Standing behind me. Holding a silver banana-shaped lighter to the back of my head like it was a pistol.I stared at him.He grinned.I blinked. “Ryannn.”“What?” he asked, smiling.“You little menace,” I groaned, reaching up to smack his arm. “I thought someone kidnapped you, Ryan! I checked every room. The gate was open!”He laughed so hard he had to lean on the stair rail.“You should’ve seen your face, Rafa,” he wheezed. “Priceless.”I glared at him, but it was useless. One look at that boyish grin and I melted all over again.“I was two seconds away from crying,” I muttered. “Actual tears. You scared the crap out of me.”Ryan stepped closer, tugged on my shirt. “I was just outside. Needed some air. Saw the gate was loose and thought,

RAFAELI stepped out of the bathroom, towel slung low on my hips, already starting to say something to Ryan."Hey, I was thinking maybe we could…"But I stopped mid-sentence.He wasn’t there. The room was quiet, the bed empty. The sheets still looked a little messy. I glanced around, expecting maybe he was still close, maybe in the closet or by the window… but no, he wasn’t there.A slow smile spread across my face anyway. He probably just went downstairs. Maybe to get water. Or maybe he couldn’t sleep. Whatever it was, I didn’t feel that familiar twinge of panic or distance. Not anymore. These last few days… they’d been everything.Slow mornings. Long nights. Touches that lingered and looks that said too much without needing words.Even if Ryan hadn’t said he was mine, not yet, I could feel the shift. The connection. The trust slowly building between us. That meant more to me than anything else right now.I dropped the towel and reached for a pair of shorts, slipping them on without

ELENAI smiled, tilting my head as I pulled away slightly from the hug. “Relax,” I said lightly, “I was just asking. You looked like you were starving in that department.”Bella blinked again, then narrowed her eyes. “How do you say the things I’m thinking before I even say them out loud? It’s like you read minds or something.”Oh, Bella. If only you knew. She exhaled, shaking her head and stepping away, her arms crossing again as she leaned against the window. “It’s been a long time,” she admitted. “Not just a regular quickie… I mean the kind that leaves you limp and shaky for two days.”I quirked a brow, mildly amused. “That bad, huh?”“Yeah,” she said, then paused for a few seconds. “I’ve been kinda into Ricardo, but… he’s not exactly into girls.”She continued, her voice lower now. “So, the last time something happened between us… he, uh, went for the backdoor.”I blinked. Then I threw my head back and laughed. “Wait… seriously?”Bella gave a sheepish giggle. “I’m not joking. I to

  • Stripper by Night, Doctor by Deception    I’m being serious

ELENAI was back, and everything was going exactly as planned.I headed straight into my private bathroom, shut the door behind me, and stared at myself in the mirror. Then I smiled.“Wow,” I whispered, letting out a low laugh. “What the fuck did I just do?”I fucked him. That bastard. I actually fucked him.And the best part? He had no idea he was playing straight into my hands.I sat on the toilet and let myself breathe for a second, the release both physical and oddly triumphant. When I finished, I cleaned up, my fingers moving lower, slower, until I found that sweet pulse between my thighs. I bit down on my bottom lip, teasing myself. God, this was getting fun.I washed up, fixed my hair, and stepped out like nothing happened.I walked through the hospital, humming a song I didn’t even realize I rememberedAs I turned the corner, I caught them.A small group of nurses huddled near the supply room, whispering behind half-covered hands, their eyes flicking toward me like they though

  • Stripper by Night, Doctor by Deception    Fuck me Ricardo

RICARDOShe adjusted her dress gently like she hadn’t just saved a man’s life a few hours ago, and I won't lie I loved the aura she carried.“I actually saw them during the exchange,” she stated. “Didn’t think much of it at the time… just a strange look between Marco and the chef. Like they were in on something.”I narrowed my eyes, watching her closely.“But when I heard Ryan was being punished…” She paused. “I don’t know. It didn’t sit right. So I did my own digging.”She said it so simply. Like digging into my inner circle was as easy as flipping through a book.“I collected evidence,” she added, locking eyes with me. “Real proof. I didn’t want to accuse anyone without facts. I needed you to believe me”God.Who was this woman?Smart. Calculated. Brave. She didn’t just stumble into this world… she studied it.I exhaled slowly, letting her words settle in my chest. Thank God she was here.Because if she hadn’t been... I might’ve actually killed Ryan. The thought hit hard, like a fis
