Coming to my aid

Luna and the guards left, leaving me alone in the storeroom. I currently can't stand up on my feet, talk more or walk. I crawled on my stomach all the way to the door and since the door wasn't fully locked, I had no difficulty opening it from the bottom.

I'll try to be brave. I won't let my father down. No way was I going to cry, I'm going to be keeping all tears behind bars. No, I wasn't going to be shedding even a single drop of it.

I let my palms out onto the floor before me and started boating myself out of the door with it. Now that I was out in people's view, I could feel all the Omega maids' eyes on me. Most were throwing pitiful glances my way but I care less, their fake pity wasn't going to buy me out of this hell.

My hands met with an obstruction on the way and after finally struggling to lift my head up, I saw prince Aiden standing there at my front in all his glory.

I looked back down at my palms and my heart sank into the Atlantic ocean when I remembered again that he was the cause of my current condition. Had he just concurred with my need to take the food away, all this wouldn't have happened.

But again, who in his senses would let a random female wolf come out of nowhere and bulldoze his meal away. If I were to be in his position, I might have flared up but wouldn't to the point that the wicked first Luna will get to know about it.

I don't regret saving him from the trap of death though. I did a good deed and even though I was prepaid with the opposite of my handiwork, I don't have any regrets.

"I would like to get to my room, prince. But if only you'll get out of my way."I muttered, a crack coursing through my dry lips in the process. I tried not to winch but rather suck it up as I took the other way, seeing he wasn't ready to bulge.

Deadly venoms shoot through my veins, my nostrils flaring red in anger. If only I was strong enough I might just kill him at a pace but no I wasn't and the only thing I can do is just yell... nothing else.

"Get away! I don't mind getting the second round of beating, inasmuch as they'll do me the favor this time around and beat me to death. That would be better as long as I get to ruin your pretty face for you within the snap of a finger."

His lips tilted up into a smirk and before I knew it, he dropped me on one knee and yanked me off the ground, I flopped down into his arms and he carried me in bridal style.

"Hey. Drop me the hell down. I don't need your help!"My pleas all fell on deaf eyes as he walked us through the hallway.

"Put me down this minute. I can walk-"

"Of course you can."he sarcastically remarked, rolling his eyes. I huffed and reclined back to the comfort of his arms.

He soon reached where he was headed and jerked open the door to my cabin with his foot. Bringing me inside, I didn't miss the way his face crinkled as his eyes scanned round, judging the small cabin space with a displeased expression all plastered across his face.

He stopped, his eyes probably searching around for a bed. I almost laughed out but suppressed it, choosing to rather wait and watch his next steps. I know since there was no bed in sight, the bare floor I had always slept on was what he was going to lay me on.

"No."he said more to himself than me and shook his head. I was stunned when he vibrantly scoffed disbelievingly at my disgrace of a sleeping place and turned around, walking out of the room with me still in his arms.

Wait, he didn't even bother closing my door.

I reached a hand up to bring it to his notice but chose otherwise when I saw the way his jaw ticked and clenched, as though he was angry. Was he? But why?

He brought me into a paradise... No, I mean, his room. Holy Moly, there clearly stood a difference between his room and a paradise. What a beautiful sight to behold that I didn't want to leave for the rest of my life. But of course I will have to leave, I certainly don't belong here.

I was just a water maid and nothing else, a maid who was also tagged not to be associated with anyone. Gosh it's so frustrating but I can't help it and just live according to how I see fit.

He placed me on his bed. Yes, his soft cozy king sized bed and I sucked in a breath. A more clean breath to be exact, unlike the dusty-filled ones I always inhale day and night in my cabin. Trust me, not like I don't clean it up or tidy everywhere but the dust was constant. Even if it was to be cleaned, washed or moped non stop till it reaches the span of two months, nothing will change.

Wait! What if the Alpha king finds out about the prince treating me like a guest...what is going to happen next? I will have to leave quickly. I don't want any trouble.

"And what else, Sir?"a feminine voice brought me out of my trance and I looked to see one of the maids who I wasn't even aware of when she entered stood by the door, taking orders from Aiden.

Don't tell me that's Melissa, the top gossiper of all the maids. Her eyes glanced my way and I almost cussed out at her. No doubt, once she's out of here, count this to be that the whole pack house workers already have the knowledge of me being here.

"A bowl of hot water and a clean towel."he finished and she bowed, exiting the room.

I panicked, literally jumping out of his bed. "I need to get out of here before a search party will be sent to go find me."
