It felt so good to be in the same space as her again. When I saw her at the party, the joy I felt was inexplicable. Looking at Hannah now, the four years we spent apart proved that they had been good to her. She had this overwhelmingly calm nature that I knew came from knowing Christ. She had always been beautiful but this new look was everything. Maybe Simon was taking good care of her after all.

I stared at her luscious full hair for a few moments as the elevator ascended. It was so beautiful that I wanted to run my hands through it. Fortunately we arrived at her floor and she moved ahead of me, stopping my hands from reaching into her hair.

"Here we are," she sighed.

"You're not going to invite me in?"

"It's late Zach," she gave me a nervous smile. "and it's almost prayer time." she added, glancing at the time on her phone.

"Oh yeah, you need to get ready for that. I usually wake up around 3am for mine." I said.
