Chapter Twenty Three

"No Aiden, I'm sorry" I apologized immediately and he let go of me and cleared his throat.

"I think we should go home" He said after a few seconds.

"Yeah" I nodded nervously and he took my hand and led us both out of the lake. We got back to the blanket and he grabbed his pants and palm.

"I'll be in the bike" He said and began walking away immediately. I stood there for a while as I stared at his back until he was far off from my sight. I sighed and pulled off his t-shirt. I wore back my underwear once my body was dry enough and then I wore my top and pants.

I stared at the blanket and basket that still laid there. I bent down and folded the blanket,grabbed the basket and headed towards the path that led to the entrance.
