*Craig Wyatt Einar's POV*
---
"No fucking way!" My loud-mouthed brownie assistant exclaimed as she must have got it now after long seconds passed, and I just went to place my feet crossed on the glass table as I watch her being frustrated with her situation with me. Silly girl.
"Well, yes fucking way!" I countered with a victorious smirk painted on my face as I am enjoying this moment so much.
"Nope, nope, nope. No way, Mr. Einar. You go out and find yourself another room. Or I would be the one to. I'm not staying with you in a four-walled room." She retorted that just made me chuckle as she seems so mad about all this. Why would she be though?
"Excuse me? I am your boss, Maia. And, if I say you stay here, you stay. You do what I say, rem
*Mia Taylen Gideon's POV*---The camera shutter sounds were the only thing that I am hearing as I take pictures of the rose petals above the bubbles in the hot tub. Well, it's truly a magnificent view, and it's not every day that you'll get a chance to experience this kind of bath. Then, I took a picture of my hand trying to get a hold of one petal, and it's perfect. It's just that photography is my favorite hobby, and it's so satisfying to see wonderful sceneries. Also, you can never go back to times that passed, so it's a good thing that this thing was invented to keep the captured moments. And, as I am finally satisfied with the pictures that I have taken from the jacuzzi, the ocean view, inside the suite, and a few selfies, I decided to finally try the warm bubble bath. Damn, it
*Craig Wyatt Einar's POV*---I closed my eyes as I got the smell of my bewildered PA's weirdly good scent while I put her in my embrace."What is this all about, sir? What the fuck are you doing?" She whispered in my ear in panic, yet she's not hugging me back."Just do what I say, Maia, okay? Pretend to be my girlfriend. And, hug me back." I answered her back in a whisper, and I ordered her which she let out a scoff under her breath."Hell, no way in hell, sir!" She protested, and it's my turn to let out a scoff.
*Craig Wyatt Einar's POV*---The sound of silence greeted me when I stepped inside the suite after I have strolled at the promenade deck for about fifteen minutes. Now, I wonder if the drunk woman is already asleep in her room. Should I check her out? Hmm. No. She is old enough, and I bet that she is used to getting crazy drunk, which I am not aware of.Then, I went to the mini-bar at the corner to take up a sip of champagne before I'll head myself to sleep. And, to my surprise, the bottle that I have opened, earlier, isn't there anymore. Where...? Mia.
*Mia Taylen Gideon's POV*---I grunted in pain as I could feel myself about to wake up because my head is aching like fuck. Ugh, how much did I drink, last night? Damn, a fucking hungover is the reason why I don't want to get a taste of liquor. But, last night was like... Hmm, beer and vodka? Well, at least I still woke up this morning.Where is my phone and what time is it? Is it even still morning? Then, I turned to the nightstand, where I saw my phone. Hmm, no text messages from anyone? Oh, Luke, why haven't you texted or even called me since yesterday? He must have been so busy about their overtime, last night. And, as I look at the time on my phone, my eyes widened in shock as I have read the reminder that I have set yesterday, saying, "Breakfast meeting before heading to the conference together, 7:30 am"."Oh, fuck!" I cursed as I have seen that the freaking time is seven-fifteen, and I haven't even lifted my butt
*Mia Taylen Gideon's POV*---My ears are ready to hear some rants about why I was so damn slow in getting myself ready, and that we are very late. I don't understand if why didn't he went ahead. But, as I waited for him to open his mouth to spit fire at me, I didn't expect to hear all of the words that he uttered."Is your head okay? You can just stay here, and I'll order you some food for breakfast to be delivered here. And, you may take a rest until you'll feel fine." He asked as he stood up from the couch, and he told me, which I blinked my eyes many times to make sure that I am hearing all of it correctly. Am I dreaming, right now?
*Mia Taylen Gideon's POV*---"I'm so sorry, Mia. But... We can't be together anymore. I... I'm breaking up with you. And, I hope you will find someone that could love you truly and be the one that you need that can make you happy. I hope you understand." The voice of the man on the other line made my tears freely stream down from my eyes as I hear his words. No, why is he doing this to me? Am I really a bad girlfriend? Or, maybe I was just not a good one? Or, I could have not given him enough time? But, he was the one who is always busy. Maybe he just doesn't love me. No... Why am I always the one being left out? And, I tried to control myself from
*Mia Taylen Gideon's POV*---I walked briskly but cautiously on the cold hard floor of the hallway with my bare feet, and I got my shoes in my left hold while I grip tightly the card-sized knife in my right hand. In this way, I could fight for myself if ever I will encounter one of those terrorists.Damn, I still am dumbfounded with what I have heard from them. And, some people in authority should know about it all and stop it at all costs. As I have arrived in front of the door of the control room of the ship, I was greeted by a man in uniform that seems like a guard.
*Craig Wyatt Einar's POV*---"We should find a boat and go overboard, sir. ASAP." Mia told me, frantically, and grabbed the rope that has been hanging on the wall. We might use it under circumstances. And, I take a glance at the timer on my watch and saw that we only have eight minutes now. Damn, this might be the end of us.Feeling all the scared sensation a person can feel, I opened the door of the janitor's closet where we have been hiding. And, I hold the girl's hand in mine as we head to the stairs to the seventh deck where the lifeboats are stationed. We just need one.
