Chapter 59

Alpha Damien paced back and forth in the throne room as Sierra, his Luna, watched him with a concerned expression.

"You need to calm down, Damien. You're going to give yourself high blood pressure if you keep pacing like this," Sierra said, trying to comfort her Alpha.

"How can I calm down when I have such a monumental decision weighing on my shoulders?" Damien replied, still lost in thought.

"Well, talking it out might help," Sierra suggested.

"I've gone over it a hundred times in my head. I just can't decide which of our sons should ascend to the throne," Damien said, frustration lacing his words.

"It's a difficult decision, I understand that. But it's not one you have to make alone. Have you thought about talking to the twins since they left the mansion?" Sierra asked.

Alpha Damon shook his head in naught, "I have tried, but they refused to come over for the numerous meetings I've set up." Damien said, throwing his hands up in exasperation. "However, I saw them here yesterday."
