Chapter 58

Lucas sat in his car, his mind racing with thoughts of Andrea. He knew she would be at the mansion, where else would she go? His heart ached at the realization that he had hurt her deeply, and he was determined to make amends.

As he stepped out of the car, he couldn't help but feel burdened by the numerous gifts he held in his hands. He had bought her flowers, chocolates, and a beautiful necklace that he hoped would win her heart back. The weight of the gifts made it difficult for him to shut the car door, but Lucas managed to do so with a heavy hand.

He considered calling Andrea to come out and meet him, but he hesitated. What if she didn't pick up? And even if she did, he didn't want to risk dropping any of the gifts as he fumbled for his phone. Instead, he took a deep breath and made his way towards the mansion.

Lucas hoped that his plan to seek Andrea's forgiveness would work. He longed to take her out on a date tonight, but that would only happen if she was willing to forgive him
