Chapter Eleven- I am not your future sister-in-law

I travelled back home the next day after my second attempt of begging the brute went wrong and the realization that he would rather eat charcoal than get married to me for a few months sank in.

Cameron wanted to stay behind but I convinced her to come with. She still had a boyfriend that was supposed to have turned to a fiancee few days ago and would be royally pissed off at me.

"I love your mom and the small town," Cameron told me when we were on the plane, "If I had grown up in a place like this, I don't think I would ever leave," She continued, yapping on and on about how much she loved our neighbors and how the dinner at the Newman's had gone so well.

Until I couldn't take it anymore.

"If you had actually grown up in that stagnant place and your dad forced you into an arranged marriage just because of money then you would have left too....." I trailed off as realization set in.

I had done the one thing I vowed never to do to someone as sweet as Cameron. I
