Chapter One hundred and Twelve - Trauma runs deep

Isabella's point of view.

Jason got us another penthouse in another apartment complex that wasn't owned by him. Furnished it to my satisfaction. And also made sure that he told me nothing about the whole security cameras in the house.

If there was any, I had no idea about them.

"You can't seem to process what happened that day, you keep on getting flashbacks" The therapist Jason got for me said, she smiled like we were some kind of old friends.

Her bubbly personality was a fresh start from most of the tensed people I met recently. I felt like they were holding themselves back from talking about the whole traumatizing case.

They had no idea I was even pregnant. No one knew about that pregnancy but Jason and I.

I nodded, my head bowed down so I could look at my entwined fingers.

I had no idea what to say to a woman like this. I had no idea how she was going to help me recover from the trauma.

Was it even right for me to be traumatized? I mean, yes, I lost my baby but I didn't even know
