Chapter 46 - Bliss
My she-wolf overtook me. It’s a sudden leap of penitence streaking through my core like a meteorite rapidly plunging into my insides. My chest feels unknown like a big part of me was unknowingly stolen, making it harder to live through each night.
The memory of how the curse lifted from us forcefully, and how the insignia of the moon goddess on my chest vanished before my eyes swelled my hopeful heart.
Nights had passed and every vivid memory of that torturous moment always visits me in the shadow of the dark.
It wasn’t a dream. It was real for right now; I am looking at my reflection on the glassy mirror only to feel the bareness of my chest skin.
The insignia of her was really gone. And the mind behind me wasn’t happy to know about it. The wrath in his eyes never left since that day that we are robbed by our right to choose about our curse. After robbing us, they only left us in the road, grieving to the lost hope of living our dream.
