Chapter 81- Power Trip
He came to a halt outside the door. As I approach him, his twisted eyes sear my skin.
"What are you up to?" he inquired, as he observed me obtaining some items to assist me today. I know how to protect myself, and I even have goddess-like abilities. However, a single weapon isn't going to harm either. A safeguard against everything that may occur today.
I took it from the cabinet and clutched it in my hands, aiming it towards Alpha Antonio's head, which stopped him in his tracks and forced him to look at me. I watch as his eyes widen as I pull the trigger, only to hear a clicking sound instead.
“ It’s not loaded,” I grinned and drew the rifle away from him before blowing the tip and turned around. At the back of my mind, I can feel his gazes.
