CH27 - Dereck's POV
I was so glad to know Kai wasn’t harmed and that the alpha of this pack seemed more interested in merely belittling him with a change of title. However, I knew it couldn’t last long and that I needed to find a way for Kai and me to escape or take over.

When I was disturbed this morning, I wasn’t happy. This wasn’t as dire as I expected, but I still had to handle it.
