LOGINELIAS’ POV
Sleeping with Rowan just few feets away from me was a complete torture. His strong Alpha scent was making my wolf stir, creating a lot of lustful and Forbidden thoughts in my head. I had always been composed around Alphas, Betas and Gamma despite being an Omega but something about Rowan’s scent and aura was messing with my Omega instinct. He was sleeping shirtless across from me like it was nothing while I was trying so hard to stop myself from jumping on his bones. The suppressants were the only thing holding me back. There was no way I was going to survive being in this room with him for an entire session. A member of the Crescent Pack was the last person I would want finding out my secret. Immediately it was sunrise, I jumped off the bed and went into the bathroom to use my suppressants. As I opened the bathroom door, I jumped back in fear, holding my chest. “Fuck.” “Why are you so scared? Are you hiding something in there?” He pushed past me and walked into the bathroom. My racing heart began to return to its normal rate as I watched Rowan looking around the room and eyeing me suspiciously. I used that moment to take a good look at him and I regretted I did. His body was huge and well craved like that of a Greek God with his sleeve tattoo extending all the way to his chest. His disheveled dirty brown hair made him look more sexy. Carlos was scratching to come out and submit entirely to him, so I quickly bolted out of the bathroom. I made my way to the receptionist office and placed my student ID on the counter. “I think there must be a mistake in the dorm assignment. I can't share a room with Rowan Vale.” “Why? Is there a problem?” She said as she looked up from the computer screen and brought her glasses down to sit on the bridge of her nose. “Yes, a big one.” I placed my palms on the counter. “He's from Crescent pack.” Before she could respond, a familiar deep voice came from the doorway behind me. “You say that like it's a disease.” My body stiffened before I turned to see him leaning on the doorframe, arms folded and amusement written all over his face. He was clothed in a simple T-shirt but his muscles were threatening to burst out of the fabric. I shook my head and focused on the issue at hand. “Why are you here?” “You think I want to share a room with a Silverhaven heir too?” He raised his eyebrows at me. The receptionist cleared her throat to interrupt us. “Mr. Thorne, Mr. Vale, there's nothing I can do to help you. All room assignments are fixed until the mid-term term break. You two will have to adapt to each other till then.” “Adapt?” I repeated, my tone sharper than I intended. “With him?” “Relax, Perfect Alpa. I don't bite, unless you ask me to.” He smirked. I clenched my finger in a fist. “This isn’t funny.” “The situation isn't but watching the perfect Alpha lose his cool is hilarious.” He chuckled. I was getting angrier by the minute and the word perfect Alpha was ticking me off. It was obvious he got that from all the rumours about me. “Would you stop calling me that? My name is Elias.” I glared at him. “That's for me to decide, Perfect Alpha.” He met my stares and smirked before turning to the receptionist. “Thank you for your help, Katilyn. We'll come back during the mid term break.” He gave me a look before walking out of the office. I sighed in frustration and turned back to Katilyn. “Can you just help me check? There must be another room available. I'll even pay…” “Mr. Thorne,” Katilyn cut in, “There's nothing I can do. We don't give special treatment to anyone here, you have to wait till the mid term breaks.” “Fine,” I grumbled as I grabbed my Student ID from the counter. As I turned to leave, her voice stopped me. “People who complained about their roommates in the past end up becoming best friends and request to be paired together for the rest of the session.” She smiled before turning back to her computer. Rowan and I? Best friends? That was never going to happen. Just one night with him and I was so close to losing my cool. I just had to endure till the mid term breaks, so get the hell away from him. ******************************************* Later that morning, all the students were instructed to gather at the Great Hall for orientation assembly. The hall was breathtaking, with marble floors and banners representing each pack hanging in perfect symmetry, the air thick with power, pride and too many alpha scents colliding together like a storm. I stood with the Silverhaven heirs, Lucan, my Beta-in-training and best friend since childhood, and Jace, the Gamma's son. Both carried the Silverhaven crest on their jackets with the same unshakable pride my father expected from all of us. Lucan elbowed me lightly. “You good? “Yeah,” I lied, keeping my head up and gaze forward. They were standing right across from us. The Crescent Pack heirs. Rowan was the tallest among them, his easy confidence and aura clashing sharply against the icy arrogance of his older brother, Adrian Vale. Adrian was loud, commanding, his presence demanded attention, and every time his gaze swept across the room, weaker wolves looked away. Rowan on the other hand was more relaxed. He looked like he would rather be anywhere else but here and somehow our eyes kept finding each other. Every time they did, my stomach twisted and my wolf became restless. My father's voice echoed in my head every single time an improper thought popped in my head. “Stay away from Crescent Pack. They are nothing but trouble.” Yeah, too late for that. A sudden murmur began from the end of the hall. The crowd parted into two as she made her way to the front with her entourage behind her. Selena Drake, sister to the Alpha of Moon Hollow Pack, one of the strongest packs after Silverhaven Pack. “Damn, she's gorgeous,” Lucan muttered behind me. I couldn't argue with that fact. Her long golden hair shimmered under the chandeliers like liquid sunlight, her ocean blue eyes were cold and bright with confidence at the same time, if that was even possible. “Gorgeous and dangerous,” Jace murmured. “I heard she is looking for a mate this session. Imagine being that lucky bastard.” Selena was every Alpha’s dream but definitely not mine. It might be because I was an Omega but nothing about her was attractive to me. Despite all that, I had to chase her because my father was crystal clear two nights ago. “Win Selena Drake’s heart. Mark her as your mate. With the Moon Hollow beside us, no one would dare to challenge Silverhaven.” As if fate decided to mock me further, Adrian Vale started moving toward her with an annoying smirk on his lip. He stood in front of her with his hands shoved in his pocket as his height towered over her. He began to speak but Selena’s polite smile told me everything I needed to know. She wasn't impressed. Then something unexpected happened. She walked past him and moved toward my direction. The entire hall was dead silent, even my wolf froze. Selena stopped a few feet away, her perfume mixing with her natural Alpha scent, it was sweet, alluring and commanding. “You must be Elias Thorne,” she said in a smooth and melodic voice. “I've heard so much about you.” “Good things, I hope,” I said, with my composure oozing with confidence and aura. Her smile deepened. “Great things actually. I have a thing for Alphas who are perfectionist and exceptional, so I was hoping we could get to know each other better.” Little did they know that I had to be perfect and exceptional because I couldn't afford to make any mistakes. Lucan elbowed me again. “You lucky bastard.” I ignored him and replied to her. “Sure.” I took her hand and kissed the back of it, making her smile widened. Across the room, Adrian stood frozen. Then his expression darkened, his jaw flexing with restrained fury. I could feel his eyes burning holes through me. Just like that, I knew that I made an enemy for myself on my second day. And to make it worse, it had to be from Crescent Pack. The same Pack I was supposed to stay away from. The universe was truly against me.Finally, Elias and Rowan story is officially over, and I have to say it was one hell of a roller coaster ride. What made this ride more enjoyable was your support. ELIAS'S POV Five Years LaterThe morning of the coronation dawned gray and cold, but I didn't feel the chill.I stood at the window of my childhood bedroom, no longer a child's room, but the quarters of the heir who was about to become Alpha. The Silverhaven mansion sprawled below me, servants rushing through the courtyards, guests arriving in sleek black cars. Banners bearing the Silverhaven wolf hung from every lamppost.Today, I would become the Alpha of Silverhaven Pack and the leader of the Big Six.My father had announced his retirement six months ago. The council had debated, the elders had deliberated, and the Moon Goddess had given her sign, a lunar eclipse that bathed the pack lands in silver light, lasting exactly as long as the ceremony would take. There was no question. It was time."Honey, it's time," Rowan said from the doorway.I turned. He leaned against the frame, arms crossed, a small smile playing on his lips. At thirty-nine, he was more handsome than ever, the sh
ELIAS'S POVTen years. That's how long it had been since we graduated from Mortlach Academy. Ten years of weddings and births and pack leadership and late-night group phone calls that always ended with "we need to do this more often."So when Selena suggested we build a vacation house, neutral territory, outside the Big Six packs, no politics allowed everyone said yes.The house was enormous. A sprawling mansion on the edge of a lake, surrounded by forests and mountains. There were enough bedrooms for all of us, plus a game room, a pool, and a backyard that seemed to go on forever.I stood on the porch, watching the chaos unfold.Rowan appeared beside me, slipping his hand into mine. "The kids have been here for twenty minutes, and they've already broken a lamp.""That's a new record.""Lily cried. Micah blamed the twins. The twins blamed each other." He leaned his head on my shoulder. "It's going to be a long week."I grinned. "I can't wait."The first night, we all gathered around t
KAEL'S POVGabriella had decided to stay in Silverhaven instead of returning to Nightbourne Pack after Elias and Rowan's wedding. She said it was because she wanted a break from pack politics. I suspected it was because she wanted to be during the school break.Either way, I wasn't complaining. It benefitted my plans because I had been thinking of how to ask her to stay in Silverhaven without being suspicious. We spent the first week doing nothing at my personal house, sleeping in, cooking together and taking walks in my new neighbourhood. She laughed more than I'd ever seen her laugh and seemed more relaxed, obviously to my plans."You're being weird," Gabriella said one evening, watching me pace the living room."I'm not being weird.""You've been checking your phone every five minutes. You asked me what my favorite flower is. You've been humming the same song all day." She narrowed her eyes. "What are you up to?"I stopped pacing and sighed. “Fine, you caught me. We are going somew
ELIAS'S POVIt took us six months to plan the entire wedding to our satisfaction.Every Alpha from every pack was invited. The guest list stretched across the entire werewolf community, and the ceremony had to be held in the Great Hall of Silverhaven, the only venue large enough to accommodate the hundreds of attendees.I stood in front of the mirror, adjusting my ceremonial robes. White and silver, the colors of Silverhaven Pack. A small wolf's head pin on my lapel, my father's, passed down through generations.Silverhaven has always stuck to their traditional ways of holding wedding ceremonies especially for their future leaders."You look nervous," Kael said from the doorway."I'm not nervous.""Your hands are shaking."I looked down. He was right.Kael walked over and straightened my collar. "He's waiting for you out there. He's been waiting for months, so have you." He met my eyes. "You've got this."I took a breath. "Thanks."He clapped my shoulder and left. The music began, sof
ONE YEAR AND FOUR MONTHS LATER ELIAS'S POV I stood in the graduation gown, the silver tassel brushing my cheek, and looked out at the sea of students and families filling the Mortlach Academy stadium. Beside me, Rowan shifted, his shoulder pressing against mine. He was nervous. I could feel it in the way he kept adjusting his collar, the way his foot tapped against the ground. "Relax, you're going to be fine," I whispered and he nodded before taking a deep breath. The academic awards were announced and I topped the class, no surprise there, given how many nights I'd spent studying instead of sleeping. Rowan had come second, which was nothing short of miraculous considering he'd had to relearn two years of material in less than one. Silva had taken third, and she'd grumbled about it for a full ten minutes before Selena reminded her that top three her final year was nothing to be ashamed of. We concluded the ceremony with all third year students receiving their graduation se
ELIAS’S POV “You have been awake for three weeks?” My eyes widened in surprise. “Why didn’t anyone say anything?”“My parents wanted me to fully recover before letting anyone know,” She replied as she sat up on her bed.“I'm so sorry you had to go through that because of me. if only..” I started,
ELIAS’S POV When I was finally alone, I paced around the room, running my hands through my hair. Rowan had claimed me as his mate without knowing, and I couldn't dare tell anyone.‘That shouldn't be a problem since Rowan has declared his feelings for us and clearly wants to be with us,’ Carlos sa
ROWAN’S POV As soon as I got back home, the butler immediately walked up to me.“Alpha Rowan, your father has been looking for you.”“Where is he?” I asked.“In the conference room with your brother and the pack leaders,” he answered and I made my way upstairs.I heard the sound of an argument com

I tried to convince Kael to listen to Miss Madison and wait but he refused and left on his own.Of course, I couldn't stay back and went after him which was how we ended up there.“Where did they take my mother to?” He asked when w
