LOGINELIAS’ POV
Sleeping with Rowan just few feets away from me was a complete torture. His strong Alpha scent was making my wolf stir, creating a lot of lustful and Forbidden thoughts in my head. I had always been composed around Alphas, Betas and Gamma despite being an Omega but something about Rowan’s scent and aura was messing with my Omega instinct. He was sleeping shirtless across from me like it was nothing while I was trying so hard to stop myself from jumping on his bones. The suppressants were the only thing holding me back. There was no way I was going to survive being in this room with him for an entire session. A member of the Crescent Pack was the last person I would want finding out my secret. Immediately it was sunrise, I jumped off the bed and went into the bathroom to use my suppressants. As I opened the bathroom door, I jumped back in fear, holding my chest. “Fuck.” “Why are you so scared? Are you hiding something in there?” He pushed past me and walked into the bathroom. My racing heart began to return to its normal rate as I watched Rowan looking around the room and eyeing me suspiciously. I used that moment to take a good look at him and I regretted I did. His body was huge and well craved like that of a Greek God with his sleeve tattoo extending all the way to his chest. His disheveled dirty brown hair made him look more sexy. Carlos was scratching to come out and submit entirely to him, so I quickly bolted out of the bathroom. I made my way to the receptionist office and placed my student ID on the counter. “I think there must be a mistake in the dorm assignment. I can't share a room with Rowan Vale.” “Why? Is there a problem?” She said as she looked up from the computer screen and brought her glasses down to sit on the bridge of her nose. “Yes, a big one.” I placed my palms on the counter. “He's from Crescent pack.” Before she could respond, a familiar deep voice came from the doorway behind me. “You say that like it's a disease.” My body stiffened before I turned to see him leaning on the doorframe, arms folded and amusement written all over his face. He was clothed in a simple T-shirt but his muscles were threatening to burst out of the fabric. I shook my head and focused on the issue at hand. “Why are you here?” “You think I want to share a room with a Silverhaven heir too?” He raised his eyebrows at me. The receptionist cleared her throat to interrupt us. “Mr. Thorne, Mr. Vale, there's nothing I can do to help you. All room assignments are fixed until the mid-term term break. You two will have to adapt to each other till then.” “Adapt?” I repeated, my tone sharper than I intended. “With him?” “Relax, Perfect Alpa. I don't bite, unless you ask me to.” He smirked. I clenched my finger in a fist. “This isn’t funny.” “The situation isn't but watching the perfect Alpha lose his cool is hilarious.” He chuckled. I was getting angrier by the minute and the word perfect Alpha was ticking me off. It was obvious he got that from all the rumours about me. “Would you stop calling me that? My name is Elias.” I glared at him. “That's for me to decide, Perfect Alpha.” He met my stares and smirked before turning to the receptionist. “Thank you for your help, Katilyn. We'll come back during the mid term break.” He gave me a look before walking out of the office. I sighed in frustration and turned back to Katilyn. “Can you just help me check? There must be another room available. I'll even pay…” “Mr. Thorne,” Katilyn cut in, “There's nothing I can do. We don't give special treatment to anyone here, you have to wait till the mid term breaks.” “Fine,” I grumbled as I grabbed my Student ID from the counter. As I turned to leave, her voice stopped me. “People who complained about their roommates in the past end up becoming best friends and request to be paired together for the rest of the session.” She smiled before turning back to her computer. Rowan and I? Best friends? That was never going to happen. Just one night with him and I was so close to losing my cool. I just had to endure till the mid term breaks, so get the hell away from him. ******************************************* Later that morning, all the students were instructed to gather at the Great Hall for orientation assembly. The hall was breathtaking, with marble floors and banners representing each pack hanging in perfect symmetry, the air thick with power, pride and too many alpha scents colliding together like a storm. I stood with the Silverhaven heirs, Lucan, my Beta-in-training and best friend since childhood, and Jace, the Gamma's son. Both carried the Silverhaven crest on their jackets with the same unshakable pride my father expected from all of us. Lucan elbowed me lightly. “You good? “Yeah,” I lied, keeping my head up and gaze forward. They were standing right across from us. The Crescent Pack heirs. Rowan was the tallest among them, his easy confidence and aura clashing sharply against the icy arrogance of his older brother, Adrian Vale. Adrian was loud, commanding, his presence demanded attention, and every time his gaze swept across the room, weaker wolves looked away. Rowan on the other hand was more relaxed. He looked like he would rather be anywhere else but here and somehow our eyes kept finding each other. Every time they did, my stomach twisted and my wolf became restless. My father's voice echoed in my head every single time an improper thought popped in my head. “Stay away from Crescent Pack. They are nothing but trouble.” Yeah, too late for that. A sudden murmur began from the end of the hall. The crowd parted into two as she made her way to the front with her entourage behind her. Selena Drake, sister to the Alpha of Moon Hollow Pack, one of the strongest packs after Silverhaven Pack. “Damn, she's gorgeous,” Lucan muttered behind me. I couldn't argue with that fact. Her long golden hair shimmered under the chandeliers like liquid sunlight, her ocean blue eyes were cold and bright with confidence at the same time, if that was even possible. “Gorgeous and dangerous,” Jace murmured. “I heard she is looking for a mate this session. Imagine being that lucky bastard.” Selena was every Alpha’s dream but definitely not mine. It might be because I was an Omega but nothing about her was attractive to me. Despite all that, I had to chase her because my father was crystal clear two nights ago. “Win Selena Drake’s heart. Mark her as your mate. With the Moon Hollow beside us, no one would dare to challenge Silverhaven.” As if fate decided to mock me further, Adrian Vale started moving toward her with an annoying smirk on his lip. He stood in front of her with his hands shoved in his pocket as his height towered over her. He began to speak but Selena’s polite smile told me everything I needed to know. She wasn't impressed. Then something unexpected happened. She walked past him and moved toward my direction. The entire hall was dead silent, even my wolf froze. Selena stopped a few feet away, her perfume mixing with her natural Alpha scent, it was sweet, alluring and commanding. “You must be Elias Thorne,” she said in a smooth and melodic voice. “I've heard so much about you.” “Good things, I hope,” I said, with my composure oozing with confidence and aura. Her smile deepened. “Great things actually. I have a thing for Alphas who are perfectionist and exceptional, so I was hoping we could get to know each other better.” Little did they know that I had to be perfect and exceptional because I couldn't afford to make any mistakes. Lucan elbowed me again. “You lucky bastard.” I ignored him and replied to her. “Sure.” I took her hand and kissed the back of it, making her smile widened. Across the room, Adrian stood frozen. Then his expression darkened, his jaw flexing with restrained fury. I could feel his eyes burning holes through me. Just like that, I knew that I made an enemy for myself on my second day. And to make it worse, it had to be from Crescent Pack. The same Pack I was supposed to stay away from. The universe was truly against me.ROWAN’S POVThat night, I couldn't sleep because how could I when everything that happened was replaying in my head like a curse i couldn't escapeAdrian had told me to set off the next morning to find Elias and bring him to them.Very early the next morning, I packed my things in my little suitcase and took it to the car. The surroundings were quiet as the place was filled with all the new guards, no one dared to come near the Alpha’s mansion like before.I went back in and moved through the halls without saying a word to anyone. All the guards ignored me like I was nobody. The respect I used to get as an Alpha heir was gone. Before leaving, I decided to stop by the cells where my father and some leaders who refused to accept Alpha Kaerald as their new Alpha were kept. The guards blocked me the moment they saw me. “Alpha Rowan…”“Move,” I said flatly. “I need to speak to my father.”He glanced at his colleagues and they nodded at him before he stepped aside for me to go in.The heav
ROWAN'S POV “What the hell are you talking about?” I asked, turning my attention to my mom. “How is he Adrian's biological father? What exactly is going on here?” She stood and walked toward me. “I'm sorry you had to learn about everything like this, but you can't really blame me. All this is your father's fault.”“Of course.” My father scoffed. My mother rolled her eyes at my father and turned back to me with a wicked smile on her face.Seeing that interaction between my parents felt like a horror movie. My parents always showed how in love they were when I was growing up, but now witnessing them expressing hatred for each other was not even on my list.“The truth is my father groomed me to be the Luna of Crescent Pack, and I was honoured to catch the attention of Alpha Kaerald. At that time, everyone was contemplating who was going to be the next Alpha between your father and Alpha Kaerald, but I didn't care about it anymore because I was so in love with Alpha Kaerald”She sighed
ROWAN’S POV I stood in the war room, confused and overwhelmed. Gamma Caleb, my mom and Silva were still nowhere to be found. My father has been captured by the same people Adrian was working with while I was stuck in the pack with no one to turn to.“Alpha Rowan, we have searched everywhere and we couldn't find them,” a warrior said as he came to join me in the war room. “No one saw them leaving. Not even the Border guards.”I ran my fingers through my hair before tugging it hard. “What the hell is going on? Why is all these happening?”For the first time in my life, I felt completely stuck. Was this karma for betraying Elias? Is the Moon Goddess really punishing me?“Alpha Rowan,” another warrior walked in. “I did a head count on all the guards we have left in the pack and we are only 200. The others are warriors in training that have either not gone to warrior school at all or are still going through warrior school.”“We will have to put them on the battlefield because we need all
ROWAN’S POV The night swallowed me whole as I was dressed in all black, making my way toward Moon Hollow.Silva’s directions were precise. The hidden path was exactly where she said it would be, narrow, overgrown, almost invisible unless you knew what to look for.I slipped through it easily and within minutes I was inside Moon Hollow territory. What I saw next made my steps slow. They were tons of armed warriors, patrolling the city but that wasn’t the problem. It was what they were wearing. They were all dressed in Crescent Pack Warriors uniform. My eyes darkened. They had taken over Moon Hollow under Crescent Pack’s name. The Crescent Pack flag was hung everywhere as a sign that they had taken over the entire territory.I moved deeper into the territory, keeping to the shadows, avoiding patrols with ease.My target was clear, the Alpha’s mansion. If someone was in charge, that’s where they would be.Getting inside the Alpha’s mansion wasn't difficult because they weren't expecting
ROWAN’S POVI left Gamma Caleb to go freshen up and treat my wound. The hallway was unusually quiet as I walked to my room. After everything that had happened, the pack and the Alpha’s mansion should have still been buzzing but most of the warriors were gone with my father, and the rest were scattered, preparing for whatever came next.As I turned to the corridor that led to my room, my mind was still running through everything, Moon Hollow, the ambush, the unknown message, and all the missing pieces that refused to connect. That was when I saw Silva. She stepped out of her room without noticing me and closed the door behind her quietly. She froze in her steps the moment her eyes landed on me. Something flickered across her face, but it quickly disappeared, and she turned immediately, reaching for the door handle like she hadn’t just seen me.My eyes narrowed at her as I began to walk closer to her. “Silva.”She didn’t respond. Instead, she tried to slip back inside.I moved faster,
ROWAN’S POVBy the time I got back to Crescent Pack, the sky had already begun to darken. The warriors at the border had brought me back home because all the vehicles had been stolen by the attackers. The bodies of the dead warriors were properly collected, and a message was sent to their families. The moment I stepped into the mansion, a few warriors came to my aid.“Where is my father?” I asked, seeing that the surroundings were a bit empty.“He already left,” one of them replied. “He led the troops to Silverhaven not long after you left.”I nodded. We had no time to waste. Moon Hollow had fallen into the wrong hands. We couldn't let Silverhaven slip out of our fingers, too.“Who was left in charge?” I asked.“Gamma Caleb,” he answered.I didn’t waste another second to reply. I marched straight inside because I needed to talk to him anyway.Gamma Caleb was exactly where I expected him to be, in the war room, standing over a large map, issuing quiet instructions to a few remaining w

ELIAS’S POVDuring our last SU meeting, Rowan had raised his hand with that familiar, reckless confidence in his eyes when we were trying to figure out a way to find Professor Madison's location.“I’ll do it,” he’d said. “Just leave the part about finding Professor Madison to me.”Gabriel had stare
