CHAPTER SIXTY-NINE: The Photo

"Oh, Lola, you're here! Why did you take so long?"

"We've been waiting for you since earlier..."

"Yeah, we've been here for a while..." Laurene, Jane, and Summer asked in succession.

I took a chair from the dining table, placed my purse on the table, and sat down. Summer was sitting on my left, busy with her makeup, while Jane was on my right, eating an apple.
