CHAPTER TEN: Home

I immediately stood up when a car stopped in front of me. I was just sitting there on the wooden bench for an hour before it came.

After a few moments, I saw Laurene get out of the car and now stand in front of me.

“Lola!” we promptly hugged each other for a second then we ended it up.

“How are you? Why did you get here? I and your parents said–” she did not continue her words as I pulled her towards the car.

“Can we just go home now? I want to rest..” I said and I slowly took a seat inside as I remember I have a wound on my feet.

“Really? Fine!” I saw she just rolled her eyes at me and crossed her arms. Then afterward, she just sat beside me then he closed the door. I told Harold to drive us home now until the car runs.
