Celine's POV.

"It's okay. You don't need to be hard on the kids. They are boys and all naughty boys," Edwin said, but I shook my head. I took my handkerchief to wipe off my tears.

"It's fine. I don't want to raise a bully. I know how wrong it felt to be bullied. I was bullied growing up by my own family," I said, shutting my eyes at the memory as I wiped off my tears.

My parents always felt that Clara was better off and good at everything than me. They wanted a perfect daughter, but I ended up the opposite.

The memory stung. How they declined everything that I wanted to do, until I stood my ground and insisted.

"I am so sorry. I didn't know that this child would make you feel sad. Now, all of you, apologize to aunty Ann," Edwin told the two kids next to him.

My son looked at me confusedly, as I am sure that my face had turned red.

"I am sorry, Mom," Kaleb said, instead of getting angry with me.

"It's fine. I am okay. Don't mind me," I smiled and my son smiled back.
