Loathed and despised

Her hair flew as she walked down the streets with the wind whistling past her ears harshly. She looked up at the sky, the clouds are gathering up and turning dark. It seems as if its gonna rain soon.

Instinctively, she increased her pace, praying she arrived Clark place.

"He will listen the me, right?" She asked no one in particular. She bite on her lips and hope so. She got no-where to go.

"He loves me!"She assured herself.

In few minutes, she reached his mansion. She could still remember how often she visited him in his mansion before their supposed Engagement day. She inhaled deeply and took up the courage before knocking on the gate.

After giving it a knock, she moved back a little. The gate open afterward, revealing the security man.

He frown at her and she gulped down nervously.

"What are you doing here" he asked. Samantha felt it awkward since it's the first time she's been asked.

"I....came to see him. I mean Clark" She mumbled. She wiped the sweat dripping from her forehead. The atmosphere was suffocating her already.

The security man looked away from her and whistled. Her brows drew together at his expression.

"Where's Clark?" She asked again.

"He left" he muttered and Samantha frown.

"What do you mean by he left?"

Her voice broke as she spoke.

"He left to New york" He replied. She blinked twice and stared at him.

"And he's not coming back anytime soon". His last words kept repeating in her head.

She released a dry laugh.

"Go home, it's gonna rain soon" he said and closed the gate. She staggered back looking at the gate in horror.

"He...he left" She began choking with sob.

"He left!" She couldn't help sob harder.

"He really left" She kept repeating words, finding it hard to believe.

SOME HOURS LATER

She panicked. Her feet stumbled to move. She finds it hard to lift them.

She couldn't hold back the tears. Now she's back to the place she wished not to go.

Her home.

"You ungrateful witch. Since we done nothing for you, while don't you leave and start your miserable life somewhere else" She remembered Sierra, her stepmom words and shivered.

"Leave caused my husband and i can't parent you with your unborn bastard"

Samantha hiccup and squeezed her dress.

,"Can't believe she was able to show her face, how disgusting"

"Who get pregnant for another on her engagement day, how ridiculous"

"She's shameless"

"She's carrying a bastard"

"A child out of wedlock. So pitiful. It suck!"

Samantha frantically looked around and saw people staring at her with hate and disgust. She gulped down in shame. Cold shiver ran down her spin.

Her eyelids twitched a bit. The tears streamed down her cheek.

"Poor girl"

She could hear their scornful laughter. She moved her feet but it seems heavier.

She felt dizzy again and her vision blurry. She could hear their laughter faintly.

It was only a matter of time until she came crashing on the floor.

She fainted.

Wright Diamond Corporation.

Seeing Davis walk out of his office, Sabastine Potter trotted to him.

He was Davis personal assistant. He was dressed in professional attire wearing his rimless glasses.

"We only have few minutes before the international video conference begins. The materials are here..... "

Davis raised his hand to stop him.

"Cancel the meeting"

Sabastine was taken aback for a moment. The usual calm boss seemed anxious today. It was so obvious in his voice.

"Okay" he nodded. Davis has always valued this collaboration. Sabastine couldn't understand why he cancelled the meeting all of a sudden.

Without any further ado, Sabastine called the other party right away.

The conference was important to Davis. He had prepared for it for a long time. However, at that moment, only getting his suit for his wedding matters to him.

His heart sink with disappointed as he stared at his wrist watch.

As usual, the employees greeted him when they sighted their eyes on him, even though they are very much aware he's a Casanova, they never stopped respecting him. He's known to be strict as f**k!.

He got outside and met his best friend Jace.

"You're late" He said heading to his car.

"Someone seems nervous. I didn't know getting married makes one nervous" he winked.

He faced Jace just when he was about to enter the car.

"Shut up, you monk!" He retorted and Jace rolled eyes at him.

"Did you bring your car along?" He asked.

"Yes, but I can ask my driver to return it home. Let's go with yours" Jace muttered.

Davis entered the back seat and Jace did at the other side too.

"Where to, sir?" The chauffeur asked, staring at them through the rearview mirror.

"All Souls Bar" Jace said. Davis stared at him doubtfully.

"Why that place?" He asked. He massagef his throbbing temples. He could feel the frustration within him.

"Because there are likely to be hot bítches there, I'm tired of f**king the same girls" Jace muttered. He smiled and faced the window.

He could sense Davis burning gaze.

"Seriously, you're crazy. I'm getting married in a week time and i need to be faithful to my woman. I aren't going to those places anymore and moreover, i need to get my suit Jace"

He muttered.

"Marriage is another phrase of life. I didn't know it suck this much" he said beneath his breathe.

"Sure. Wright boutique"He said to the driver.

The driver drove out of the company immediately.

"I heard that" Davis said. Jace sighed and lean on the driver seat.

Samantha woke up in a room. Her eyes fluttered opened and she saw the familiar scene. The smell and warmth of it, brought tears to her eyes.

She didn't bothered to think of where she is. The door opened and Charlotte burst into tears when she saw a gray- haired woman walk in. She lifted the guilt and rushed to her.

"G......Granny" She stammered. Granny let out a sigh and stroke Samantha hair.

Although she pretended to be angry, the love and pity for her Grand daughter were evidence in her eyes.

He pulled from the hug and stared at her eyes.

"That fool called my son. How could he do this to you. He listened to Sierra over you. He's such a fool and doesn't deserve your tears. How many times have I told you to come to me when things became harder. You're just as stubborn as him" Granny said.

"I'm sorry, Granny. I thought you'll be disappointed in me" She choke on her tears.

"of course not" Granny muttered and embrace her in a tight hug again.
