Chapter 39 - Temporary

"I know that smile," Cindy said in a playful tone when Moriah emerged into the living room.

The glow in Moriah's face already told Cindy what had transpired and it's easy for her to guess.

Moriah bit her lower lip to stifle her giggle and sat beside her friend, embracing the pillow, she exclaimed, "Cindy!"

Cindy held Moriah's face with her hands. "Tell me."

"He loves me!!!!" Moriah whispered - yell, trying not to squeal with joy.

Moriah and Cindy talked in soft voices unaware of someone standing behind them just two meters from them.

Before clearing his throat to draw his wife's attention, Ethan stood there for about two minutes silently watching Moriah blush and giggle as she and Cindy were talking in low voices just like high schoolers who were talking about their crushes.

Moriah and Cindy turned their heads to where the sound came from.

Moriah stood at once and threw the pillow to Cindy then approached Ethan. "How long have you been standing here?"
