Jazlyn's Dad

Jazlyn looked into the blue eyes of the man sitting next to the bed where her mom was being treated.  The man looked worried even though Jazlyn knew that it was just a lie.

"So what do you want?" asked Jazlyn to her Dad.

"Dad misses you so much," said the blue-eyed man to Jazlyn.

"All right. If you miss me. You should have picked up my phone call yesterday. And where's Mom's hospital fee?" asked Jazlyn, somewhat irritated.  The man had already taken out a brown envelope from his pants pocket and handed it to his daughter

Jazlyn peeked at the contents of the envelope and counted the contents of the money inside. "Dad, I know you already have another child. But, doesn't this feel unfair? I have to take care of my mom, pay for all the house needs and also pay all the bills by myself and you only give me this?" said Jazlyn angrily.

"Daddy hasn't given me money in the last six months. Is that child more important than me?"  asked Jazlyn a
