Iris POV. "Can I go out?" I ask daddy Mathew, the door was strangely locked, and I already have my shoes on and was ready to go. "No," he says making me frown. "Why not?" I ask him angrily, I started to pull on his sleeve until he gave me his full attention. "Me go out," I say again pointing to the window, I want to go there. "I nu like winter," the baby kitten whines, it's not even winter anymore, most of the hard storms have passed, with her hidden either in my arms or under the bed, or above the fridge, the one thing I never expected to ban or say out loud, you're not allowed to get on top of the fridge.
